The Twista/Com thing is especially hilarious because Pusha T actually has more certifications than either of them.
Fred.
I SEE 1 CERT FOR PUSHA,
3 CERTS FOR COMMON
AND 6 CERTS FOR TWISTA

So all of your hate stems from the fact you have a made up system of what goes on a mixtape (like it’s not 2023) and what is a real song (commercial joint)?
Pusha… someone who has said openly he will NEVER make that song or ever stop rapping about coke, would be a top rapper, if he just did one?
But he has Pusha and Pharrell with him, but you don’t think he COULD just be handed a hit. He just can’t do it from a lack of skill?
nikka me and you could make a hit with them in our pocket and a Jay z feature. It’s obvious, like Griselda, he chooses to not go that route. It’s not like he’s trying and failing
This the closest I ever heard push even attempt it and it came out good. I think he could put 2-3 of these on every album if he wanted but he don’t want to
I SEE 1 CERT FOR PUSHA,
3 CERTS FOR COMMON

MNIMN went 4, Daytona 3 and it’s almost dry went 1Dunno why
It's not really misleading when "Grindin'" was 20 years ago and his latest album hit #1 on Billboard.
And it's disingenuous to compare him to Twista/Com when both were rapping and building a fanbase 10 years before Clipse even came out.
And I'm saying all this as someone that doesn't think he's top 50.
Fred.
Rap is rap. I hate doing this cause I know you good people. But that sounds white nerd as hell.
DOESNT HAVE TO BE A COMMERCIAL SONG.
IS HOLD YA HEAD A COMMERCIAL SONG?
IS HEART OF THE CITY A COMMERCIAL SONG?
IS SLIPPIN A COMMERCIAL SONG?
IS ONE LOVE A COMMERCIAL SONG?
DUDE DOESNT MAKE SONGS
WITH THEMES AND CONCEPTS.
HES JUST DOES BRAGGADOCIOUS RAP
AND COKE BARS OVER BEATS.
SAME FOR THOSE GRISELDA nikkaS.
THATS MIXTAPE RAP.
ANYBODY CAN DO THAT.
CATS OF THE PAST WERENT ALLOWED
TO DO THAT THORUGHOUT WHOLE ALBUMS
SO THEY HAD THOSE JOINTS
ON MIXTAPES.
Pusha T got 8.
Twista got 7.
Com got 3.
Your math isn't including singles featuring Pusha T, which isn't how the system works. You're on a song = you get a plaque.
Same as an Academy Award.
If Drake (or, pick whatever mainstream artist you prefer) offered to put you on his single tomorrow....it went plat....you're telling me that don't count?
C'mon now.
Fred.
Rap is rap. I hate doing this cause I know you good people. But that sounds white nerd as hell.
“Oh you listen to that mixtape rap where they sell drugs and brag. Where’s the concepts?”
Like come on. This is rap. They rapping. Hooks and verses? Then it’s for the album. Mixtape raps is like 100 bar freestyles over other nikkas beats and shyt.
Cats in the past didn’t want to do that shyt either then some old white guy said “we need something for the radio” and we’d get the radio single in the middle of an album that sounded totally different. Those times are over
Bro what are u saying? Daytona dropped before the Drake beef. And his only album he dropped since then was It's Almost Dry. He didn't drop an album "during" the Drake beef. Only before and after.HE DID 55K 1ST WEEK THIS TIME.
HE DID 77K 1ST WEEK DURING
THE DRAKE BEEF...
HE DID 44K 1ST WEEK BEFORE THE DRAKE BEEF.
DRAKE BEEF GAVE HIM A STIMULUS
AND HES KEPT SOME RESIDUALS.

No. Remember. People were already listening to Infrared from the album as the first shot to Drake. Then Drake dropped Duppy.
DIDNT STORY OF ADDIDON DROP
THE SAME WEEK AS DAYTONA?
NGL I like we got it 4 cheap vol1/2 better than any clips LP![]()
No. Remember. People were already listening to Infrared from the album as the first shot to Drake. Then Drake dropped Duppy.
Either way the album was getting rave reviews when it dropped. But yea it was the same week. But I don't think Story Of Adidon could've had that big of an effect sales wise based on when during the week it dropped. The album did damn near 40k physical without streaming.
INFARED HIT THE NET
IN SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS CLIPS
OF HIS RELEASE PARTY...
ALBUM WASNT OUT YET.
"On the eve of his DAYTONA album release, Pusha-T hosted an intimate party in NYC, where fans and industry insiders received an exclusive preview of the much-anticipated project. Of course, it didn’t take long before clips of DAYTONA surfaced on social media, with one particular track generating a lot of buzz: “Infrared.”"
"On Thursday, Pusha reiterated his reasoning behind the 6 God diss during an appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, claiming it was now his turn to question the Toronto rappers’ authenticity"
DRAKE DROPPED DUPPY THE DAY
DAYTONA DROPPED
AND PUSHA DROPPED STORY OF ADDIDON 3-4 DAYS LATER.
IT WAS AN ELABORATE SET UP
AND DRAKE TOOK THE BAIT.
nikka LITERALLY USED DRAKE
TO SELL HIS ALBUM.
