Pusha T is def in my top 50 Greatest MCs..... I just think context and criteria matter. Jim Jones, and Cam have not been the same since they got washed.. They both speaking out of turn and reckless.

50 greatest impact probably not, but LOT of nice MCs in my book dont have the impact because I mean lets be honest, since the golden era, marketing, payola, machine, image are above actual MCing skills.

I still cringe when we talk greatest groups and nobody talks RUNDMC in the top 5 or KRS in top 5 Rappers, but since that age it's not about the same thing.

You can't figure out when an album from 1997 went plat based off RIAA.com man....what are you even talking about?

Certs are updated when a label pays for the RIAA to audit the album/single. It could be the same year, it could be 2-3 decades later.

Go look at how many certifications Wayne got September 22nd, 2022. You legit thought all that shyt magically went plat the same day?

And as far as your last sentence, I have no idea who you got me confused with but I've said the same thing about any legacy act (Nas most recently) selling in the same ball park ("KD3" doing around 30k). It doesn't go platinum until it is certified. Certifications are for units shipped. Since it was certified in 2019, then it wasn't platinum until that point. It could be platinum and still not have sound scanned 1 million units because platinum and what it actually sold are NOT the same. You don't know how many units were shipped prior to 2019, so it's rather trivial to bring up that point. FACT: IT WAS NOT CERTIFIED UNTIL 2019. Anything else is pure conjecture unless you can otherwise prove it. If not, it's irrelevant.

Nas is an independent artist who is 30+ years into a career. Nas is actually an artist who was thriving 20+ years into his career and beyond. Pusha T is on G.O.O.D Music distributed by Def Jam with production split between Kanye West and The Neptunes, had a single that featured Kanye West and another that featured Jay Z. He's supposed to be selling more than Nas.

Pusha T has ZERO ALBUMS certified anything. He has ONE gold single ("If You Know, You Know"). The rest are Kanye West songs FEATURING Pusha T.
