I remember quotables from Tru Life epic rant on Jim better than actual quotables from Jim's rapping career.

Dude is a glorified Cam hype man. Who wears girl belts. While Pusha is not a top 50, I'd be scared to hear Jim's top 50
He'd probably have Un Kasa in top 50

Un Kasa is top 50

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Come on man we gotta stop :dead: clipse dropped in 01. And had low level success after grinding. Jay signed Ross and jeezy in like 05, 4 years later. And neither of them only rapped about coke.

And both are greater and has bigger songs.
Oh Mr 17.5 was All about coke on that joint. Mr I know Noriega was all about coke on that first joint. Don’t play that game now. You’d be hard pressed to find an song on those first albums that didn’t have coke bars

Pusha just never stopped. But they clearly thought this shyt could work after Hov acted like it couldn’t. But now who does Hov make sure to do features with and give 64 coke bars to himself? Puuuuush

Possibly, but I don’t see it being as big as what Push and Malice turned it in to.

Neptunes and Jay work well when they do pop tracks ;just wanna love, ..please, La-La-La or slower tempo tracks ;allure, excuse me miss, change clothes.

The closest thing I heard Jay do that was grinding-esque with Neptunes was blue magic and that was not bad but meh,he lowkey kind of bit push on that. The other song I heard similar to that was that commercial where he was rapping over basketball dribbles sample and I don’t know who produced that.

:yeshrug:
If you read the interview, Pharrell was just trying to get them to the studio so he threatened them like “come over now or I’ll give it to Hov” so they’d speed over

These dudes will say anything to downplay these nikkas. We got homie in here saying Young fukking Jeezy wasn’t a coke rapper just so he can say nobody was copying

Some wild comments in here :mjlol:

Neptunes was literally the biggest producers in the game when Grindin dropped

But you look at albums where they produced the majority of the tracks, most ain't do that well commercially. Clipse was the perfect fit for them to work with, they could do some weird and offbeat tracks that the Clipse could ground and it worked. Lord Willin and HHNF are some of The Neptunes best and most memorable projects regardless what they sold

The Clipse definitely had an impact on the game, you don't believe that just check the list of artists who state it.

When you combine group and solo there's not many artists who dropped their debut after 2000 that's got a better catalog than Push. Is he top 50? Debatable

Y’all throw around classic way too loosely.

Those are good albums but not a chance in hell they’re classics
A good album has skipable songs. Those albums are classics. I can start on the first track and skip absolutely nothing.

Rap can never just discuss the music lol

First thing out of somebody mouth is how he dress or do the women want them :pachaha:
Cause hip hop fans only ones who will say an album is classic when he had no impact on hip hop outside of a small fanbase. Dudes talking bout Pusha has a classic album :lolbron:

Hip hop been around damn near 50 years so this isn’t a crazy thing to say. Jim wouldn’t make this list either. Cam would be pushing it if he’s even included
