Yup. I know people from Cali that vouched for Eazy.

He's before the era of rappers running around yelling "crip" and other gang affiliations on record. But if you know you know

People legitimately be confused as hell when it comes to the Clipse and NONE of their pre-loaded respsonse to rappers rapping about selling dope don't work.

Now dudes is in here talking about some "In my day people didn't sell dope unless it was their last resort....it wasn't cool to do it for the hoes"

It's clear some nikkas just be saying shyt just to say shyt.... but don't be saying shyt except a whole bunch of shyt. :stopitslime:

Not everybody that grew up in the streets came from broken homes. There's a lot of street dudes back in the day that came from structured homes and jumped off the porch for the allure of it all.

I mean people from the 757

Been saying this for years

:yeshrug:

Pusha really be outside tho, has a store in Ghent...shot Exodus 23:1 behind the Philly Steaks off tidewater

It's still wild that even after the indictments, people getting locked up...and them people getting out and still vouching for them that people continue to try to claim they lied about all this.

Them nikkas is from the suburbs of Va beach. I just don’t believe it like that .Could I be wrong of course. Suburban nikkas do dirt too. I can’t even recall in any major hoods in Va beach it was mainly Norfolk and Newport News. Granted I’m younger than them but still

:yeshrug:

And people from the area have said this before

One isn't contingent upon the other. There are plenty of those that came up with nothing, had nothing, had no one and still didn't do dirt. Just as there are those that did dirt to try to escape their situation. And there may be the same that came from stable home hustling as those that didn't.
I didn’t say it was brudda…I’m just saying, choosing a life a crime because you almost literally have no other option warrants more empathy then some good kid from a good home deciding to live that life cause it’s cool…them types are bug outs. That was my only point

Somewhat related, but this thread is making me think about Power and realize that it's not unrealistic at all for Tariq to get into the game.

It's just that the writing was terrible and they did nothing to justify why Tariq would want that life for himself, or make the audience see him as a good criminal until Book II.
