Has Jae Millz ever had a single that wasn't a first single? shyt, at least Pusha's actually released studio records before, even if they were group records. He's closed out two VMAs the fukk has Mr. Wannablow done? He should wanna blow a studio exec maybe he can release an EP or something.

Jae Millz thinking people been waiting on his album as long as they've been waiting on Pusha's ?! :wtf:
This fukker probably can't even get a release on a fukking mixtape, let alone an album he needs to sit the fukk down

I'm not sure who to blame for a nikka to not get a release date for an album, from the same folks who signed him to release an album:patrice:

How does this "getting signed" shyt work for non-producers?

They own your life. You sign for albums.

Say you sign for 5 albums. Well the albums you do still have to be approved by the label. So you can do 188383 songs. If the label don't feel the shyt is hot.... If they don't feel you got enough buzz.... If they just don't like you.....

YOU WILL NEVER COME OUT!!! Technically you not releasing music so they no even have to pay you. And since you signed for albums and not years, you're not going anywhere or doing anything but releasing "free" mix tapes, doing features, and doing shows

why do labels constantly sign nikkas and then shelf them versus releasing them? Is there a tax write off or something for having shelf artist?
It like how YMCM have a long roster, but yet only about 3/4 artist get released dates
