Made an appointment with my dentist to discuss my wisdom teeth, and I just know he's gonna give me the :francis:

Dentists have been telling me to get my wisdom teeth removed since my late teens but I pretty much gave them the :camby: becuase they weren't bothering me

In my mid-20s, they started bothering me a little but it was mild so I still gave the :camby:

Now (30) I'm pretty sure my shyt is infected/going bad and caused a cavity on the adjacent tooth, and I'm going to have to end up getting at least some removed anyway. :smh:

Any 25+ people have experience with getting your wisdom teeth out? Was it bad? Have to take a lot of time off?

my wisdom teeth crushed almost all of my molars because they were impacted (growing into my molars instead or up and out of my gums).

fukked my life up for about 5 years.

if you are told to get them out then get them out.
i was drinking whiskey and and removing my own teeth with pliers at one point in my life.

look for colleges or universities that have students perform the procedure for free.

Honestly, it's not even about money. I have insurance and can afford it.

I just don't like the idea...I've never had any surgery before outside of a filling. :manny:

impacted wisdom teeth will crush and mean that in a very literal way, crush and destroy themselves and the teeth they are impacting.
it is very painful.

i had shards of my wisdom teeth breaking through my gums because they were breaking as they pushed into my molars.

Thinking about getting mine removed too. No pain or anything but it's squeezing my back teeth making them mad hard to floss. My back teeth gums be bleeding and shyt when I floss so I gotta get the pockets scaled every now and then.

I researched and nikkas acting like if you get it done past 30 it's painful as shyt cause the roots are so embedded :sadcam:

I'm worried if I keep bullshytting ima be like 50 yr old and HAVE to get it done so maybe I should just do it now

Yeah better to do them sooner than later if you can afford it, primarily if they become a huge issue as far as pain.
I got all of mine removed on the same day as a teen.
The second and third day afterwards were hell, but it was worth it.
