Put off getting your wisdom teeth removed, brehs

I ended up going to the dentist in the hood where no appointment is necessary...he just pulled that shyt out and gave me some gauze,I couldn't eat solids for about a week....My sister said she thought they should've did some kindve a xray first in case there was an infection,but they just pulled it and everything was fine breh

I don't know if the dentist I used came out of school as the best of the best,but he gets a lot of practice,and I thought did a good job and it was less painful then some cleanings I've had....Either it just isn't that painful of a procedure,or that tooth pain I suffered made me stronger

Low key, if you stayed by me I might have to ask for that hood referral

My dental place is so crappy that it takes a month just to get a filling, despite it never being busy anytime I go. Apparently it's because everybody is part time. Transcript of my last appointment:


Receptionist: OK, we've scheduled an appointment for your filling for August 27th.

Me: Uh...it's June. Is anything sooner available?

Receptionst: No. That's the earliest we have available. But give us a call if it starts hurting...well, if it starts hurting worse. We'll see if anything opens up in that case.

It might be July by the time they actually schedule me for something.

Never had a wisdom tooth problem in my life.

Never had a cavity in my life.

I'm 33. Can't even imagine going through that nonsense.

You know I don't fukk with religion, but count your blessings for that one.

Had to have braces when I was a teen, but other than that I never had any cavities or dental problems until my late 20s, then they all seemed to hit at once.


I'm pretty sure the wisdom tooth is the root cause though. If a wisdom tooth gets infected it can cause the tooth next to it to get cavities and shyt.

Really, this is what I'm trying to do. I got all four but the top ones don't bother me, so I'm thinking I can just get the bottom ones out.

I got mine done when i was 17, 25 now and still no issues with them.

i had too..my gums were growing over my wisdom teeth..food particles were getting trapped in causing an infection..gave me a wicked bad sore throat..i was eating in pain for weeks

Mannnnn. When I joined the Navy we went thru the whole medical shyt. They checked us all over etc. . I was told I had 8 wisdom teeth. Double than what I should have had and they would be taking them all out soon. I guess the reasoning is that the Navy will remove wisdom teeth from any sailor before the go out on a ship. 9 times out of 10 if you are on a ship there is not going to be a dentist there and if you have a emergency they will have to get you off the ship and to a dentist etc. . So they just yank everyones wisdom teeth out whether they are bothering them or not before you ship out.

Well. . They must have forgot about me. They never took em. I went thru all four years of service with my head full of wisdom teeth. When it was time to get out I had to do a exit physical. They decided then that they needed to take out my wisdom teeth. A week before I was getting out. It made no sense to me but whatever. I show up to the naval dentist. . I had never had a tooth pulled. Hell I never had a cavity. I did not know the process. I assumed they would put me under. Nope. .Dentist said they will numb me up and yank em out. I was like. . . ok. . .

Stuck me with that novocane. Had a brehs mouth all numbed up. Grill felt like huge like A Hungry Hungry Hippo. All was good for a while. He took the first four teeth out. . By the time he got to the 5th I started to feel some twinges of pain. So I tried to calmly tell him that I could kinda feel it. . But of course it came out all mumbled. He yanked out the 5th. . When he started on the 6th I started yelling cause I could feel it for sure now. It was not the full blast but It HURT. . The doc was a Officer. He had these medieval pliers that was using to yank them teeth out. When I started mumbling louder he leaned on me and started pulling on the 6th tooth. He gets it out and I am bucking cause that shyt was not getting better. He goes to start on the 7th tooth and I am . I am trying to yell I can feel it. . It was coming out . IIIII CANNNNNFNFFFEEELLELEUIT IIITTTTITITITIT!!!!

He had two male nurses come in and they held me down!! He started to try to grab that 7th tooth again and I POPPED UP out of their hold on some exorcist shyt.

All while trying to yell that I could feel it thru my numbed up lips. One of the nurses was like. . I think he can feel it doc. . . I am shaking my head up and down like yes yes yes yes you fakkit! He was a officer but the next course of action if he did not understand me was to punch him dead in his mouth. Numb up his lips.

He was like ohhhhhhhhhhh! You need more novocane? I have never been so happy to see that needle.

i had 1 out when i was in my teens
then the other 3 out in my early 20s.
hurt like hell. stayed high off the pain meds for a couple days but the dentist was right
when he said get the rest pulled at 1 time and get it over with.

my H had all 4 of his pulled when he entered the military. They arent interested in you wanting to be "sick" during your service
so they knock that right out.

one thing i will tell you is getting your tonsils out as an adult is more horrible than you can imagine.
i wouldnt wish it on most of my enemies

You gotta ask around,word of mouth is always good....The spot like the one I went to is made to get people in and out,but I don't know if that's always a good thing...If theres no real pain you might be better off waiting for your dentist who knows you,and wants you as a repeat customer.
