I got mine removed at about 25. I never felt any discomfort from them, but one of them nerver dropped and got infected creating a large cyst in my naval cavity. Had to get real surgery to get it removed, they couldn't just do it in a dental office.

Never felt much pain behind it, but they had to cut some nerves to get to it, so I've lost a bit of feeling in my upper lip and gums.

Good luck OP

I had one taken out in my mid twenties because it was cutting into my cheek. To be honest it was less trouble than having a deep filling, but I was sedated and it was a top wisdom tooth and apparently they are easier to take out. Thing is two days later I was eating steak obviously avoiding where the tooth was removed. Really was no big deal.

Made an appointment with my dentist to discuss my wisdom teeth, and I just know he's gonna give me the :francis:

Dentists have been telling me to get my wisdom teeth removed since my late teens but I pretty much gave them the :camby: becuase they weren't bothering me

In my mid-20s, they started bothering me a little but it was mild so I still gave the :camby:

Now (30) I'm pretty sure my shyt is infected/going bad and caused a cavity on the adjacent tooth, and I'm going to have to end up getting at least some removed anyway. :smh:

Any 25+ people have experience with getting your wisdom teeth out? Was it bad? Have to take a lot of time off?
I had all four taken out at about 28. It wasn't that bad. Just make sure you have a ride back home from the dentist office. And whatever you do, do not take the oxy.

Wasn't over 25 when I had them removed, I was 18 and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Head swole up like Martin when he fought Tommy Hearns, couldn't eat solid food for two weeks, spitting and swallowing blood for that period of time, not to mention the pain...oh man, the pain.

I had issues with mine around 19 or 20 years old, had an appointment to remove them but the pain stopped so I never went back. Haven't had problems since.

I was 19 and the exact same thing happened to me. It was obviously worth it, but that first 3 weeks were awful. Not to mention the damn stitching that had to come out on its own, it took like a month until i was finally over with the whole recovery process.

I just kept spitting blood it was ridiculous.

Had 3 pulled, took the dentist all of 20-25 min to do it. No pain during the process just the annoying sound of tools grinding against your teeth. The taste of blood for a few days after with drugs and soft foods. Good to go within a week.

Went to the dentist today and he pretty much gave me the :francis:.

Might be able to get away with keeping the top ones for now but the bottom ones are "badly decayed" and need to go. Not sure when I'll get it done though, I have to make an appointment with the dentist that specializes in wisdom tooth removal to decide. Fun. :smh:
