People keep bringing up him losing to OKC and Mavs but forgetting the question is prime Kobe.... Prime Kobe dropped 62 in 3 quarters on the Mavs when they had 61 as a team.

Prime Kobe guarded Westbrook when lakers knocked them out the playoffs. Prime Kobe was unstoppable with a killers instinct.

Don't confuse that with older aged Kobe. And gasol turned into a whole hoe outchea when we lost to the Mavs

More impressive than going to 6 straight finals through the east imo. Actually shows the caliber of competition they had to face

Give me the context of LeBrons 6 straight finals appearances :feedme:
He was the most dominant player on every team. MVP of the league for a couple of them. 4 straight with Wade and Bosh with the Heat and 2 more leading a young inexperienced injury plagued Cavs team.

Everything needs to be put in proper context bruh, that's what I'm saying. That "gotcha!" shyt doesn't work with me because I'm always consistent.

Kobe didn't beat those teams by himself. He played in a tougher division than Lebron has but he's also played with better teammates and coaches. How many of those 50 win teams did Kobe beat with Shaq and Phil? Lebron has never played with anyone close to a prime Shaq and his sidekick have been cats like Mo Williams and Larry Hughes at times. He's had coaches like Mike Brown. If you're not going to talk about all of that then what's the point of saying "Kobe beat more 50 win teams in the playoffs tho"?

LOL KOBE WON WIT GASOL AS A SECOND OPTION .. WADE IS MUCH CLOSER TO SHAQ THAN HE IS TO GASOL. STOP IT.

ITS A FACT THAT HE NEEDS AT LEAST TWO ALLSTARS ON HIS TEAM TO WIN .. KOBE DID IT EVERY YEAR WITH ONLY 1

basically up until this year u needed to be a near 50 win team just to get the 8 seed in the west

its not even comparable

You're too young to even be discussing what Kobe did in the early 2000s to mid 2000s....you just graduating HS breh. Relax trying to tell those of us who were watching and posting in The OG Coliseum about a series that you weren't even old enough to judge.

You were still drinking outta sippy cup breh while we were tuned in....get out here with this with all due respect breh:camby:
Apparently watching this game ain't tell y'all shyt, cause y'all ain't saying a damn thing without bias. fukk you, your trash ass associates, and any other oldhead unable to look at the game matter of factedly.

Wait....so Paul George and the Pacers would stop Prime Kobe, when Prime Bruce Bowen (with Prime Tim Duncan anchoring the defense) couldn't?:jbhmm:

:lying:
I'm not saying they'd stop him, if dude put up those same stats he got against them, that wouldn't have been enough. These are two completely different teams we're discussing, you know who else Kobe had on that team? Shaq. You know what Shaq was? A DPOY and a complete lock down of the rim. You know what Kobe's responsibilities were? Not guarding fukking bigs for more than fleeting moments.

AGAIN, THESE PLAYERS AREN'T DESIGNED THE SAME. KOBE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE OUT HERE PLAYING IN THE PAINT LIKE LEBRON DID, BECAUSE LEBRON WAS ESSENTIALLY ANOTHER BIG FOR THE MIAMI. HE ALSO WASN'T SUPPOSED TO COME DOWN THE COURT AND RUN THE ENTIRE OFFENSE. THAT WASN'T WHAT HE DID. THAT'S WHAT WAS REQUIRED TO BEAT THAT PACERS TEAM, AND KOBE DOESN'T DO THAT.

If someone said Magic instead of Kobe, Magic could be doing the same thing Bron had to do for that team, even tho Magic did play with pretty good defensive bigs, I feel with the experience of playing the 4 like he did, I think he could've done the same thing
