Looked like Afflalo had the option of passing it to Grant in the corner, but you know that fukkboi is just gonna jack it up for a long contest two over Johnson. :martin:

Favorite stat of the half:
Robin Lopez played 11 mins...Seraphin played 8, KOQ played 10 and Sasha "chinese league bench piece" Vujacic also played 10 mins.
Not sure why Lopez didn't play more and just let Quinn or Seraphin play the back up. If one of them is really that bad just play the other. At least let Lopez play the 5 and have Quinn stretch the floor at the 4 a bit with his shooting if he wouldn't want to keep all at the 5. No way in hell should Amundson have gotten significant minutes:scust:

Melo brings the ball up a LOT. You saw that cross court pass in the backcourt from Galloway to Afflalo (he drove and missed), that's pretty much what they're supposed to do every time down. There's not a true lead guard in the triangle, it's just supposed to be constant motion. Post-ups and off ball motion are what create in the triangle, the guards especially the PG play a way different role. I actually think Galloway runs the triangle better than Jose because he moves the ball more freely which is what's supposed to happen, not the stagnation when Jose slows things down and waits around.

This is why average to bum point guards always thrived in that offense. Ron Harper & BJ Armstrong in Chicago, and Fisher in LA.

Ron Harper had a spark when he started but point is accurate. The triangle PG really just needs to be able to spot up, move off the ball and play defense. A lot of PG's struggle in it when they try to do too much which is why you see Jose and Grant thriving off high screens but looking lost and over dribbling at other times. Galloway got the opposite issue, he is determined to do what is supposed to be done hence that pass to RoLo at the elbow surrounded by three damned Raptors.
