If the Knicks don't start planning for post Melo now. In 5 years we're going to be talking about how KP needs more help and how it sucks that they need to tank in his prime to get it.

So what free agent do ya'll think Phil goes for? I liked what Evan Turner did in that Boston series and think he could be a good glue guy on the Knicks as a SG/sf combo. However with Wroten and Grant both likely the PG's I could see Phil looking for somebody who could shoot the 3. Also I wouldn't be surprised if Phil re-up's D-Will for AA money.

I want Dwill back, especially since he's shown he can be a good off the bench player. But we definitely need a starter, preferably at the sg.

Struggled for the most part in his series, but I like Crabbe because he's a quality three point shooter with solid defensive ability and he's young. Fournier or Crabbe are my guys because I'm worried Bazemore and Turner will be pricy. I like the trade for Collison concept since it leaves us with capspace to add one of the aforementioned SG's and then we can add a big with more agility...dream would be snatching up Dwight Powell on a poison pill deal but I know that's not realistic. Wouldn't mind bringing Dwill back at all, he seemed like he was starting to get it from Feb. on.
I think Jeff Teague will be available, with the reported tension he has with Atlanta.
Conley would be a positive addition also. It's unlikely that Memphis is letting him walk though.
Getting Dwight on the cheap wouldn't be a bad move either. For defensive purposes. Even though I am not fond of dude. Don't neg me....
Lets not forget about Rondo, Brandon Jennings, & Ish Smith.
Harrison Barnes will be unrestricted.
We definitely want Derrick back. Afflalo can walk.
