It's not about going over the cap, but blowing our cap flexibility this summer instead of waiting for the HUGE prizes next summer.

Ive always really liked Noah as a player, and they must think he's still got enough to do what we need him to do. If nothing else he's a fiery vocal leader that gives our team personality. Lord knows Melo and Rose aint that.

I dont get people saying we need to fill out our bench. We have solid bench players, they just were expected to do way too much in the past few years. I'm not saying we're a title contender, but I cant be mad if we're competitive and in the playoffs.

Lot of dudes talking sideways like it's a waist of time if we're not title contenders. That shyts just not in the cards for us in the short term. We need to build a winning culture before we even entertain the idea of becoming a title contender. The reason we have zero shot at KD is because we've been garbage. Need to turn that around first to be viable for a player who will take us to the next level. Who knows, maybe in time KP can be that.

I just hope the Noah contract isn't a long one. Can't imagine it will be.

Fam, we literally have no bench players :pachaha:. Melo, KP, Rose, O'Quinn & Justin Holiday are the only players we have under contract. Galloway has a qualifying offer.

This is pretty much my exact proposal from the midway point of the season to today. Except I attached some names to my idea (pretty damned sure I was the first to name drop Allen Crabbe and that proposal gained a lot of steam).

Yeah, I'd rather take Dwight than Noah on a 3 or 4 year contract, Dwight at least has some game left in him, Noah is done :francis:
