I can already tell this team will almost always be in the game in the 4th quarter. So this season may come down to how well the Knicks can execute in the 4th.
Luckily they have one of the best scorers/4th quarter players in the league, which will go a long way :salute:

But my biggest concern is Lance Thomas. He can't be a part of the lineup that finishes the game... he doesn't bring enough to the table. I don't mind Sasha being in during crunch time because he's dependable for the most part, but Lance :scust:

I missed the game because of work/then headed to Manhattan for some Halloween fukkery :shaq:

Melo went off & dropped 37 on Dudley's head :blessed:.

A rare moment when all my NY teams doing well, Giants in 1st in the division, Knicks 2-1, Mets in the World Series (even though it's not looking good :mjcry:) #WATTBA :blessed:

After three games, we may need to give Lance a chance :yeshrug:

:whoa: Lance been doing the damn thing on the hustle tip... Dude is tough too.

Low key him and Gallo have come a long way from d-league scrub status. Hope they get better.

Word. Lance did well last night. He is obviously showing Fisher solid signs in practice. I am rooting for him.

He is already more steady than Shump, Earl, and THJR.

Lance doesn't hustle though. Hustle is what Derrick Williams has been brining in erratic minutes over 3 games. Lance is like Luke Walton, Brian Scalabrini - he's not really hurting them, but he's not helping push them over the edge or changing the dynamics of the lineup.

I don't haave a problem with Jose playing - our guards are young and will need a vet presence. And evenbetter is Jose is looking to shoot. I have a problem with Jose AND Sasha in at the same time. That's atrocious. It's gonna be interesting when Affalo gets in, because Jose is still the only current "legitimate" PG on the roster. Melo flourishes with a PG, I know the triangle doesn't require one, however, I know that Affalo bringing up the ball isn't the best recipe for success.

And why hasn't he been giving Porzingis minutes along side of O'Quinn? For days like last night, he will need the bully to protect him so that he can find his grove. If they want to be a serious threat, it would be wise to pick up a vet at PF.

Missed the game last night none of the bars had the game on with the World series going on which I guess is understandable. Pretty happy they got the W. Heard a stat on Wfan this morning the Knicks won only 7 road games last year:russ: they already have 2 this year

Lance is steady for sure, but I question his ability to be a consistent scoring threat, especially from deep.

I'm down to let him cook tho... he's been good money so far.

I understand the purpose of a Lance Thomas... He's a smart player who just does the intangibles. Being in the right positions on defense and offense go a LONG way in basketball, especially in a system that's big on movement and spacing.

Lance Thomas is a scrub, but he made some important plays down the stretch by posting up smaller players and getting easy buckets. He's not a defensive liability and was defending anyone from 1-4 last night. He was switching on Wall and Beal and didn't get embarrassed in the process.

Just like last year, he came in and gave everything even though it's not a lot. I want to see more of Early, but it's clear he's not performing in practice and Fisher trust Lance a lot more.
