More like y'all have cap space because of 'Melo's contract. If 'Melo had pulled an Lj (renegotiating his contract when the cap will go up much higher), y'all wouldn't have money to do anything. I think Sheridan or Simmons made this claim a week or two back. It's really just hearsay and I feel like it would have been a big story at the time of the draft if it was legitimate, because the mass reaction to KP being too raw would have lended well to drama over Phil originally wanting the "4 years of college and ready to contribute" Kaminsky (man did they get that whole thing backwards

Break down coming soon, but I just wanted to point out that KP has been working on that "not quite a dream shake but same feel" move from very early on. It's not Hakeem's exact move, it's a Melo move and when KP first tried it he air balled it but it's become a go to and he's killed two bigs with it in back to back games. I had to find the old breakdown where I'd seen it before.
