Not wasted at all IMO. It showed what the Knicks can look like without Carmelo on the floor.

The squad lost the game, but probably helped their confidence going forward.

We need a fire fisher movement here soon. I wasn't able to watch the game tonight, but the few times I have seen him this year he still looks as clueless out there like he did last season. I don't think Phil and Dolan will pull the plug on him mid-season, but I think it needs to happen.

Looked terrible. Looked like their best defender and important offensive rebounder didn't play. It's telling that you wanna dump 'Melo and keep Arron when Arron is only 1 year younger than 'Melo.

And with Thibbs, the offense will be worse, which is what has cost NY 9 of the 10 games they lost.

I hate watching Calderon play sometimes. He doesn't push the ball, doesn't set guys up well enough these days in his career, doesn't watch for the cutter, can't D up, and tonight missed open shots.

If the dude is turning the ball over AND missing open shots, then he's literally useless.

We didn't have Melo tonight, but Calderon was the ball-stopper instead.

Yet another horrible loss.

False. He gets players quality looks every possession. He had 4 assists. He only averages 1.2 turnovers per game. He has the 4th best shooting percentage on the team (45.4%), even coming off of injury and a ton of missed games. He's holding 44.4% shooters to 40.5% which is 3.9% below their average. Just say you don't like him. You don't have to lie on him.

if your offense gives seraphin and lopez more offensive opportunities than your top 5 pick, maybe you should change your offense

Maybe the top 5 pick should shoot above 42.5% like Rolo and Seraphin does.

It pisses me off that seraphin gets more shots than KP, that shouldn't be happening...at all. Shout out to him for sonning dwight a few times though.

How is giving a 42.5% shooter more shots than a 45.5% shooter a winning strategy? KP gets 7 more shots than Seraphin (and he got 3 more than him last night). Maybe that's a reason the offense is so broken.

We need a coach who will punish players for not driving or attempting field goals in the paint for there first 5 attempts...

Edit: honestly brehs...this team has pieces to be an interesting bottom tier playoff team. We need the guidance to get it all together.

All this drive talk just means NY's offense is putrid. If you can't make jumpers, you can't win because all teams will do is clog the paint and cut off your driving lanes. NY did that to Chuckbrook and he went 11-29 that night. Fact is, Arron, Gallo, and D-Will need to stop missing open shots. 'Melo's been decent, but he can be better too and has missed open looks. Arron had a good game last night, but that's 1 game. I think Arron will be alright once he gets his legs back and I'm sure like Gallo and the rest of them, his legs are even more tired from the schedule.

But I still don't understand why Galloway isn't getting more minutes. At this point it has to be affecting his confidence, which is not good since he's the future and could be an all-star.

His young legs need to be protected for that wall that the 82-game grind causes young players to hit. He only gets 5 less mins than last season. He's getting the 5th most mins on the team. Only ones above him in mins are 'Melo, Arron, KP, and Jose. It's always someone eles's fault when he under-performs. His legs are probably just tired from the crazy schedule of 18 games in 1 month, 4-games in 5 nights, back-to-backs etc.

Porzingis does things in the Triangle, that Shaq did.

He gets underneath the basket before the defenses get set. He has his arms up begging for the ball and Jose can't pull the trigger on the pass.

Guarding the 3 point line is a major issue.

Not it's not. NY is 1st in opp3fg%. Teams shoot 29.9% from 3 against NY and NY gives up the 13th fewest attempts (21.5). Even last night Houston was trash from 3 (28%).
