I don't know.

It seems gone are the days that we pick up players just to see what sticks

It looks like management is very concerned with NOT upsetting the chemistry that's been built up by this squad. I'm supporting the cautious approach with respect to signings.

During the 2011-2012, we signed Jeremy Lin to a 10 day contract to fill out a need for the roster. Last year, we signed guys like Galloway, Amundson and Lance to 10 day contracts and they ended up on this season's Knicks 15 man roster and contributing off the bench. I don't see the harm in adding depth to replace Cleathony (injured) and Sasha (worst two-way player in the NBA/non-contributor on this team).

Those also were years that prime minutes were available due to desperation.

We aren't in that situation right now. We are in a situation where players are getting comfortable with the minutes they can expect.

If Fish can find minutes for Sasha he can find minutes for somebody that can do ANYTHING half decent on the basketball court. I say why not look at Wroten, Nate or a D leaguer? :ehh:

While I agree somewhat, you gotta remember the whole "the triangle is tough to pick up" part of this. This team is built on putting smart, "dirty work" type players around Melo and KP. The teams success is too delicate right now to bring in someone you have to "catch up to speed". If we were 30 and 14, it'd be another story.
