I don't know if ya'll heard Joerger got fired by the Grizz and it looks like they want Vogel but only if he is cheap.

I myself got to go

1) Vogel
2) joerger (they are very similar but vogel's experience with the triangle gives him an edge)
3) Blatt (part of being a coach in managing personalities and he did it so badly he got fired off the #1 seeded EC team a year after they went to the finals...... that is a major red flag)

Hopefully the knicks get their guy as long as it isn't Rambis.

Conley can kick rocks. The free agent for PGs will be much stronger in 2017 anyways.

But I don't think Conley can realistically expect that elsewhere. He's coming off of two straight years with season-ending injuries. I could be wrong.

The Memphis GM Chris Wallace has publicly stated that they're going to offer him the 5 year offer. The PG class is very weak and Conley is the only above average PG in this free agent class. Mike's going to get the max, dude, and everybody has cap space so he's going to garner alot of interest around the league.

Vogel? The same Vogel who refused to play small ball? Dude is gonna be playing them slow ass lineups.
Did he even have the lineup to play small ball with? I mean yeah, Paul George playing the 4 sounds great....but what about the rest of the lineup

Not to mention, what does that decision have to do with a potential coaching job in NY?

That what Phil wants though....:yeshrug:

Anyhow as much as the offense was an issue it was the defense that killed us

They started the season with PG at the 4. PG wasn't having none of it, they weren't winning and their Defense sucked.

Their Defense was 3rd in the league this year, with the garbage roster they had.

The same with Joerger in Memphis, he wanted to play uptempo but the players couldn't play that style

George Karl? Mike D'Antoni? :usure:

I'm Not Here Saying Melo Is A Diva, I Just Think He's Quick To Write Off Coaches If The Vibe Isn't There.

I Happen To Think Vogel Would Get More Out Of Him Than Blatt Ever Would
He was with Karl for years and at this point Karl and Pringles are the problems as they seem to find the same issues in every tram

Melo was right in both of those situations though. He buys in when there's something to buy into...
