I get what you are saying when you bring up the points about revenue and notoriety, but you have to leave Kobe out of this one. Kobe helped give that franchise 5 titles. Lebron has yet to give Cleveland their first. I would have mixed reviews. if I was the owner. Even if Lebron decides not to ever come back I could have had a core of Irving and Wiggins to start with from there.
