NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
For me I just don't understand what anything Q-Tip said, however true, has to do with this broad. I mean to be addressing her about it. They want her to denounce the grammy?
I feel like him addressing her and telling her these things is his way of telling her to stop saying dumb shyt all the time and be more sensitive to the culture she's a guest in..and the people who created it...I mean the bytch was arrogant enough to come out and say her and Macklemore are the king and queen of hip hop...he's basically letting her know to pump her brakes wit that shyt..

GOD
Here is the problem though. They are giving her too much attention.

And if she wins that Rap AOTY Grammy, she is gonna rise through all this with more fame unfortunately. :smh:

i dont like iggy music but these armchair revolutionaries on twitter are gettin corny now

what did Iggy say to warrant all the backlash? i dont keep up with celebrity gossip brehs

smh @ these clown cant take them serious, did they speak out against eminem when them racist tapes dropped? :beli:

Agree, no need to embrace it but their are people in the game (Banks) putting too much effort on her. As a result they are giving her more ammo to succeed and be talked about.

Besides he fact that she's WACK as fukk and raps with a fake accent why are people addressing HER? Obviously I missed something is it something she said. Cause it IS her fault that she sucks at making music and she's basically a huge biter BUT it's not her fault she was nominated for best rap album. (BTW that is one of most ridiculous things that those scumbags have ever done) or that she's popular.

Funny how the public & artist in the game picks & chooses who to go at & not. Thats a hint for yall gullible fukks. The real reason must be because unlike every other white & BLACK vulture she doesnt have a "legit street dude" using her to run his business/wash money/promote an agenda (ie. 5%/NOI) etc so they shut up about it then. But now since all these "heroes" feel safe its cool. Lmao.

And no im not a fan of Iggy and i love Tribe but i seriously laugh all this internet "political/radical outta nowhere/when it fits" thing people is doing.

Is she the right target tho?....Why people keep going at her. Seems like it's the industry that she just happens to be benefiting from.

She's not even gold yet but these nikkas is obsessed with this chick.:snoop:

Pretty sure ATCQ sampled Epuoean musicians and probably even Australian at one point lol None of this was a problem when he was hot prforming at PWI and white dominated festivals. Him and jamar wait til they washed and then suddenly i'm blackity black and i'm black yall

i just dont' get it. you won't boycott major awards shows, you will sign with a major label with the quickness if they offer you enough money. yea her music is average at best but she's an easy target. Going at her like this won't change shyt, it will only strengthen her base :mjpls:

fukk outta here she can't replace nikki. nikki fukked up on her own. That anaconda sht is one of the worst uninspiring shyt you'll ever hear from a rapper as talented as Nicki.

Those are lyrics I'm talking about actions. I dont think they were turning away white concertgoers or album purchasers in his run. He's minimalizing hip hips global influence as a popular artform and acting as if she butted into a 1978 cypher of 4 dudes around a ttrashcan fire in the south bronx now that hes not popping

:what:What Kind of COINTELPRO undercover cacs and c00n brigade shyt is this?

:blessed:HIP-HOP IS TAKING A fukkING STANCE ON IT'S BLACKNESS, AND IGGY IS THE CATALYST. why do you fakkits give a shyt that we are going after this obvious racist, obvious fake non-raping poser, outside looking in pasty bytch with a fake ass?

:ufdup:WE ARE NOT LEAVING HER ALONE! fukk HER AND HER MINSTREL SHOW DISGUISED AS RAP.

IGGY IS A GUEST IN HIP-HOP, AND THE CULTURE HAS DECIDED SHE OVERSTAYED HER WELCOME. BY bytch:camby:

:heh:If yall don't like then cry me a river like jt dawg. BUT WE ARE TAKING THIS bytch OUT OF THE HIP-HOP RECORDS. SHE IS THIS MILLENIUMS VANILLA ICE.

DOWN WITH IGLOO AZALIA, and fukk anyone on this board against the movement

If you pressure Marshall into

Coming out and admitting his legacy and impact on hip hop is greatly exggerated/embellished because he is white.

You would think he dropped an album on the level of Illmatic or The Chronic

Marshall can drop doo doo and put it out and it will get praised.

A black artist can put their blood sweat and tears into an album. Make a great project and it'll get over looked.

The masses will be pissed.

Hip hop will win
:russ:

As funny as your Eminem hate is...why?

He already spotlighted his white privilege and had a song dedicated to it...this is before it was the "in" thing to do, btw.

Turned a lot of black people into millionaires. I mean, other than Yelawolf - what rapper that wasn't black has he ever tried to put on?

Even now, in his wack form, he tries his best to put on other black people and to preserve the Hip-Hop culture as much as possible...

I think a lot of the shyt Eminem did and continues to do gets swept under the rug because nikkas think he's a hardcore racist.

If you look at the things that he's done and not what he said way back when - the guy is the farthest thing from a racist.

Still pretty wack these days, though...

yea and out of the few people who spoke out, most of them either worked with him afterwards or.....signed to him.

they just picking on the girl at this point. i dont want to hear anymore about iggy until eminem's legacy is publically put into perspective.

unless of course, iggy said or did something to warrant all this backlash that the other priveledged rappers dont seem to be getting. somebody let me know if i missed something. i dont pay attention to her unless i see her half-naked.
Eminem has acknowledged his privilege on multiple occasions and songs..and has always shown respect to the pioneers and the culture...and put nothing but black artists on and got them rich...that chick says some of the most arrogant shyt and she has a terrible entitlement issue...according to her...Her and Macklemore are the king and queen of hip hop....she just needs to be humbled...

To be fair, how old was Eminem when those racist tapes were recorded? Also, to be fair, he acknowledged it and apologized. What's more, he helped more than a few brothers in the game, and is still helping a lot a brothers in the industry. I imagine when comparing him to plenty of Black rappers, he's openened more doors for Detroit artists than a lot of rappers have done for their own towns, including NYC and Los Angeles. 50 Cent would have NEVER been halfway as successful without Em. D-12 would have never been, Kon-Artist turned out to be a pretty damn good producer who you likely would have never heard of had it not been for Em. Joel Ortiz has more exposure now because of Em. Crooked I, Budden, and Royce have a second wind because of Em. Not to mention, Em via Slaughterhouse has brought some shine on the fledgling battle scene. That all said, how many Black moguls would have done the same? I'll tell you the answer, not that fukkin many, if any at all. I respect Em, and I think he's done more than enough to make one forget about the racist tapes and earn our respect.

Disclaimer: Not that I need to say it either, but I'm not an Em stan by any means. I stopped listening to his music around album three, just not my vibe, and I hate his production. Love his wordplay, but his overall product just isn't my thing. I still respect his artistry though, and ain't mad at anybody that thinks he's amongst the GOATS. Guarantee Sunzoo would roast more than a few posters on here trying to sh!t on Em's legacy.

i just wanna ask one question, why aint peopple goin at TI to drop this fake bytch? shes toxic

You just asked the million dollar question IMO. This is something I've been trying to wrap my head around too. They sh!tted on him more for snitching than co-signing a probable culture vulture. Mur Crimah err bye.

I haven't followed Iggy's career AT ALL to really know how damaging her pressence is. Can anybody fill me in on what she's actually done besides rap with an accent to generate this level of criticism?

What is all this about? I hope not the Grammys.

The Grammys have never understood rap music since the beginning. What happened that everyone is expecting them to be right and exact now?

I may be naive but a music genre can't be restricted to people from a specific background. Music is free, and worldwide, hip-hop as movement and rap as a musical genre is globally done by people from every ethnic background, not just black people.

For example, in Europe, rap (and its local derivatives) is a music made by people living in the poor conditions because it's a medium that helps express themselves. Obviously, there is a majority (slight, in my opinion but I have no studies to back that up) of Black people making it but there is a non negligible proportion of non-black people doing it because it's a music genre that doesn't appeal to a complexion but to a socio-economical group of people. In France, there are plenty of Arab and White people making it alongside Black people and it's not a problem here.

Though I understand that this Azelia girl is an industrial product with a fake ass, fake accent, fake skills, fake rep etc. I don't think, one should point that she shouldn't make rap solely because she's white but simply because she's wack. She should have been ran out from her lack of skills which was enough alone to strip her from whatever pass she had.
