this data is irrelevant when judging the individual QBs b/c it didn't put a cap on the data.

for example in the 2013 regular season, Tony Romo was 5-6 when the opponent scored 21+. Tom Brady was 8-2.

the statistic doesn't show that the average points allowed by the Patriots when they gave up 21+ points was 26.6 points. the average points allowed by Dallas when they give up 21+ was 33.5 points.

in general if you're discussing teams, use team stats like W-L. If it's individual players, then you need to use an individual stat, like passer rating or adjusted yards per attempts for QB.

Philip Rivers at 11 just goes to show he's not 100% the reason why his team hasn't won in the post season.

jake delhomme in top 20 ? :mjlol:

people forget that even though football offense and defense are different units, there are many factors that come into play that link them together.

like not turning the ball over on your half, directly results in your defense not being faced with awful field position, and subsequently, your defense giving up points.

the interception great brett favre being #3 on the list and pick-happy elway being #5 on the list further proves that wins are much more dependent on a team than one out of 22 players
not to mention the actual records in this case, which clearly show defenses win games, and not offenses.

Looks like Rodgers never throws picks in those situations while Manning does, but Manning wins like 30% of those games. The basic premise is that Rodgers and McCarthy are too risk averse in situations that favor the bold.

Delhomme was a pro bowl qb in the mid 2000s.
