I will say that it seems the Dems are content on running a woman for President, or if not a woman, someone they think will make history, y'know, going big, moving the needle in terms of optics, similar to that of Obama.

They've run women candidates in 2 out of the last 3 elections and if Kamala were to miraculously win the primaries, that would be 3 of the last 4, which should tell us something about the direction they're trying to go in terms of leadership.

The reality is that the party is picking candidates that represent the future of the country, but also the majority of their base, which is minorities (Black, Latino, etc), women, younger, etc. The days of picking the standard old middle-aged white man are over at least for the Democrats, maybe not Republicans.

if women wouldn't put kamala over the line last year, then i don't care about putting a woman on the ticket in 2028. i don't think it accomplishes anything

I stand corrected,you smartened up on Newsome:mjlol:

no, Newsom is beating Kamala in the '28 primary :yeshrug: i don't want to run him at all, but if it comes down to those 2, it's an easy choice

she got 2% in the 2020 primary, then lost to Donald Trump in 2024. what in god's name is her case for 2028? :dead:

"Kamala '28; Maybe I'll Do Better This Time"? :mjlol:

Idgaf about her being a good speaker I care about having a fukking plan and competent policies.. which she had more than her opposition or any other candidate outside of Bernie

She also had a solid VP who I wouldn’t have minded if he had ran at some point after her run…

Problem is, she tried to play the political “game” and a bunch more shyt but this was a fukking common sense vote

You might not gaf.....but the American public does.....being able to articulate your points is important for a serious politician.

Kamala main strategy for the 2024 election was getting "moderate" republican voters from Trump which was a big failure and while doing that lost people who were democrats.

There was nothing common sense about this last election...on one side you had the old senile man who the democrats kept insisting was fit for presidency when everybody knew he wasnt and the republicans were running an old man yelling about haitians eating the dogs and other bullshyt.....then with under 4 months left the dems suddenly throw in the female VP to be the presidential nominee.....political clown show.

Thanks for identifying the problem..

And Trump articulates well to you? What’s THE excuse for him?

Didn’t read the rest

she's out to sell books

you wanted a better source tho and that's it tho. also both hillary and kamala need to go the fukk away at this point... hillary just degrading the platform of anyone next to her and kamala skipping the line three times (primary, vp selection, no primary). both can kick rocks or advertise a cookbook or whatever
I get that people are tired of her, but that's kind of my point about how the press knows this and uses it to generate clicks. The interview didn't actually reveal anything new; it just baited a reaction by spinning a non-answer into a headline. That's the issue I'm calling out.

Running for California governor is more attainable.
she could always just go enjoy her retirement, and millions of dollars :dead: no one owes her anything

this idea that we should feel "bad" that she lost, and give her another shot out of compassion, is embarrassing. that's not gonna win us the '28 election. Dems need to be far more ruthless than that
