I can buy that Meek wanted QM to write for him, but not bars. Meek doesn't need help with bars like Drake. Meek needs help with melodies and choruses. It would make sense for Meek to have QM lay down reference tracks for shyt like that, and TBH I wouldn't fault any rapper who gets help with choruses. I don't see that as any different than Nas or Hov getting Lauryn Hill or Mariah Carey to do a hook for them.

i can see Meek wanting help with songs from Quentin to an extent.

Meek certainly won't be wanting Quentin to write his bars..even Drake didn't use him like that but Q Miller just came off writing a key part of the biggest rap song of the year (Know Yourself) at that point..so Meek might have want someone to shape a song for him the way someone like Tory did.

i might not have liked the stuff he did with Drake (outside of one song) and listening to solo stuff its clear he can bring things to the table.
