The CD that went platinum was his first release in 2 years and benefitted greatly off of a surprise release. 65% of those numbers came in that first week.
The Project with Future was a wave riding project.
You keep talking about sales but I'm talking about music. If you're going to say that because SS is his best selling first week single, it got more play than Headlines, SFTB, or any of his other lead singles, that'd be a lie. That number one single isn't in support of his album. Iggy Azalea got nominated for a Grammy also that means nothing.

So much smoke around this release. Summer Sizteen benefited from that Meek diss as well. Which is also not about music, but about beef and "who was below who at the ritz or whatever"

Musically, this is his worse rollout.

Man shut the F up forever, How do you benefit from a surprise release? if anything that slowed his sales up, If no one knew he had an album coming out then they probably wasn't prepared to purchase it that day, or word hadn't got around to those fans that don't surf the internet all damn day..

This nikka is about to sell a shytload of records, the anticipation for this album is almost as high as his first one.. He has all kinds of hype all he has to do is drop a dope single and its a wrap
