Why you laughing at that
Drakes fan base is serious

Let's pretend meek didn't drop facts and exposed Drake for shyt.. ghost writers + reference tracks... + getting pissed on and doingn NOTHING bout it :scust:

All Drake said was "you got bodied by a singing n****" ... THAT'S IT.

Meek beat Drake
Drakes fan base / social media destroyed Meek

This is facts.

If you see it any other way around,
You have to stop using drakes dikk as a toothbrush and paste

Oookkk buddy. This shyt been so dead it's not even worth arguing :pachaha:

Meek had so much ammunition and couldn't make any quotables. This dude didn't even rap anything about the piss thing. That's how uncreate he was :pachaha: Drake somehow came out with better songs.

Nas on Ether wasn't as many facts as Jay was spitting but shyt was just a better track... Sorry fam. This ain't about Drake fans. Even meek fans were disappointed with him. Clubs all around the world were dancing to B2B saying all the world. Quotables for days. Grammy nominated diss track :pachaha: but yeah meek won haha

But why drake?

Whats so captivating about Drake as a pop star?

In interviews, he comes off as a dweeb.

He's a subpar singer by pop standards.

Why is his brand so powerful?

His brand is so powerful Because it's basic relatable shyt.

Every one goes through your avg basic life shyt & relationship problems. What "drake raps about". Not everyone is born into the struggle. I'm sure a lot of people in the hood could probably relate to a relationship type Drake song on some level, mean while most people in the burbs can't relate to a rapper who raps about street shyt or his experience living in the hood, growing up poor etc Drake's songs like 'Marvins Room' is basically just the "rap" version of Adeles Hello when it comes to the basic subject.

As a former Drake stan who isn't afraid to admit he's a fraud now, you're not wrong. Back to Back was the better song but Meek came with facts that will forever make Drake questionable as a rapper.

Because the generation knew him before music, they grew up with him. The transition to music superstar is flawless

Child stars turned musicians are usually a bullet proof chance at success. Hannah, Jonas, Drake, Selena etc.

I dont want to call a Drake an industry plant, but those are the very definition of the term.
Hes also talented, dont get it twisted.

His brand is so powerful Because it's so relatable.

I figure its a combination of both.

:snoop:

@biscuitsnbangers point seems so obvious. It can't really be that simple, but it probably is.

The relateability factor definitely plays a strong role in stanning in general. I thought it was just something that affected teenagers.

Kanye, Drake, Odd Future, Eminem, etc are all highly relateable and its no suprise that they have the most rabid fan bases. You can even go back to Pac and see it.

Yup.

All those artists make music your avg person can relate to on some level. Not everyone can personally relate to a rapper like Freddie Gibbs. rap music came from the hood and wasn't something someone like myself could relate to. So now you got all these the weeknd and Drake type artists, shyt even rappers who just talk about smoking loud all day and doing pills (something white people can also relate to) making music every race of people can relate to. It's not bad per say, but Hip hop wasn't intended for me. It wasn't to reach out white suburbia lol and I hate when rappers give an interview for an upcoming album they're releasing and say it's "got something for everyone". Like shyt, why? hip hop doesn't have to be all inclusive.

One of my engineer homies (He's also a really dope rapper and producer, check out Awthentik from the DMV) told me it's Drake's vocal tone, he has this midrange voice that's very friendly on engineers and it sounds perfect in the studio. Like it's perfect for recording. His main talent is within his voice control...I wish there was a way to learn that.

This nikka got a retarded ass flow...shyt is 50 tyson level. He should have stuck to writing :heh:
Do you rap? If not you might not know what you're talking about. Drake uses that same flow in a DIFFERENT VOICE when he spits Quentin's raps...he also adds adlibs, has gadget and 40 engineering, and hella practice, since a reference track isn't meant to be heard by anybody other than the artist using it.
