I'ma keep saying it because it's true, Seattle sucks.

Russ scrambling is the only thing that worries me but even that is a tiny concern right now. Reason we lost all them close games to Seattle in the past was because we couldn't get touchdowns. Just look at them final scores of those losses. We got the #1 scoring offense this year. I'm definitely not even the homer type but I'm positive we're gonna smack these dudes next week.

Last year's Seahawks team > This year's Seahawks team.
This year's Panthers team > Last year's Panthers team.

Combine that with the fact Panthers already won this year in Seattle. And now the game is in Charlotte. And Seattle going west coast to east coast to play a 1pm game. And Panthers coming off a bye. And Seattle just played a game in sub-freezing temperatures.

Hawks don't have a lot going for them.

I really want to agree with you on this here, but that wasn't a problem when the last time they played in Charlotte (damnit, DeAngelo) and when San Francisco beat Green Bay and played us two years ago.

I expected this matchup; thanks to past history, it builds a great storyline. I know Rivera will have these boys ready. Jordan had to get through Detroit. Steve Young had to get through Dallas. Cam has to get through Seattle. This is going to be an epic matchup

Each example by itself means nothing obviously. But we never had everything going for us going into a Seattle matchup all at once like we will next week. Those past games were the Seahawks at the height of their dominance and Panthers on the come up. Completely different situation next Sunday.

I get why Panther fans are/would be :whoa: about the match-up just off history alone. End of the day though, this year's team is better than them.
