The only reason yo go to Oak Hill or one of those new prep schools is if youre a high level player that wanta a stwp up in terms of competition and college readiness. A lot of times those guys need academic help too. A regular D1 caliber kid who's probably not playing pro ball would probably be mich better suited just hoopong for the local powerhouse. Look into the local private schools first

Also, not sure if any of y’all have ever actually BEEN to Oak Hill, but I can bet that kid doesn’t REALLY wanna go there once he gets there. Remember that basketball isn’t all of life. He’d be sacrificing a lot of shyt the average teenager takes for granted, trust.
