I respect your opinion I gotta say I don't agree with it though.
You don't gotta agree with me -
that's in the Bible. A lot.

That baby will live again.
Prayer is basically any thought towards God, be it good or bad, but the more the mind becomes fixed on God, the more one becomes enlightened
Hayes won't respond to me no more because I made him look foolish for the fake atheist he is, but Hayes has a personal vendetta against God, not that he doesn't think God is real or not.
Why you think he brought up child with cancer, or blacks going through slavery. He has a personal vendetta against God. His favorite relative or his child could of died of cancer and cause of that he has cursed God, but not seeing what God is teaching him
It also says a man put all the earth's animals on an arch though. You don't gotta agree with me -

I can clearly see he has an axe to grind...but that's his issue, not mine.
I can still lace him with some game...
Where does 'god' stop/start though? 'It' permeates everything.
I would say that the less the mind becomes fixated on fleeting thoughts, desires and worries the closer one becomes with the source of those thoughts. People bow to pray to cut down on the frivolous chatter of the mind in order to focus the prayer. Less chatter, the stronger the signal and or line of communication. The gap between the thoughts is where enlightenment hides.
It also says a man put all the earth's animals on an arch though.
I'm allowed to seek understanding and I don't have to be condescending to do so. I also see you ignored my other question.
Peace be still that's true, but how you think one becomes more focused on God than Worldly matters where the mind can quiet itself? The more focus one pays attention to GOD the more the mind becomes subtle until they reach enlightment
Wouldn't that suggest you have an agenda as well since you are a believer? I'm not gonna bother to ask the same question twice. You asked why it's necessary to plead with god to not allow bad things to happen as if that's what prayer is about only to turn around and say you don't believe in god, that just sounds have a different agenda than seeking understanding.
And you pose any question for me to answer.
Where does GOD start and stop though? Where is at? Point him/it out so I can take a gander.

"The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you"
Wordly matters are outside of the self. But people have concepts of 'god' that they externalize and try to focus on erroneously. There is no 'god' to observe or focus on. Enlightenment is essentially addition be subtraction. People spend decades to do what can be done in seconds.
Ask yourself "where is my next thought coming from" and see what happens. Usually the brain will stall for a couple seconds looking for the appropriate search results (think Google) and then will return with answer or just pick the chatter back up. But you'll probably notice a gap. Ask "what does my next thought smell like"...*gap*..."what does my next thought taste like".........*gap*.
Whatever god is, it lives in that gap. You find a way to settle into that space and there is nothing between you and 'it'.
Wouldn't that suggest you have an agenda as well since you are a believer? I'm not gonna bother to ask the same question twice.
You are right I confused you with another member my fault. You literally didn't ask me a question though, but you can hold on to that.
My agenda, at least in this thread was to answer your question. And I'm not necessarily a 'believer', not in the way that you think. I just understand certain truths that religions point to and offered my insight. I didn't anticipate that this was just an atheist soap box.
