Right.
Our job is to make forms, preferably beautiful, harmonious forms out of the formlessness.
The Jesus of the bible did what he was able to do because he understood his true nature, he lived his life from that gap that I spoke of. That is where the yogis, shamens, magi and all the other colorful names for people who have an understanding of natural law operate from. I feel like religion in the modern day leads to more objectification and less knowledge, true knowledge of self. People are more gung-ho to worship and cling to image of Christ than they are to actually step into the power of doing the 'greater works' so to speak.

I know what you're talking about where the mind is completely in tune with God, but I also just put that in there that we still lost on God somewhat because we're still of this world we're just not bound by it no more, but death brings us back to God, where we truly understand God essence, and that's the beauty of death for the enlightened ones

Dr Clarke said that once we saw our situation getting grim we prayed that if we couldn't be free, could we at least be given a beneficent ruler. So we got Alexander, who, despite his bloodlust was by most accounts ahead of his time in some of his views on certain racial shyt.
Now from my own study and spiritual beliefs I'll say there were always those of us who yearned for the return of the day when the Black man at least governed himself, so we prayed once more and much harder. And once again our prayers were heard and we were blessed.
This time our salvation came in the form of Hannibal, and to a large degree his father Hamilcar.
But we blew that too. But we didn't stop praying and our ancestors never stopped listening so we were sent another.
The last was Bro. Marcus, but we couldn't protect him from the traitors amongst our own or from white people. And we certainly haven't perpetuated his work or at the very least his teachings, so we've basically lost him too.
We've been praying ever since and have had a few more sent our way to help us figure this shyt out at different points like Malcolm and Walter Rodney and so many of our Master Teachers, and have even had some more good examples like our heroic actions in Haiti and even here with the Maroons, and what Huey and Bobby and them did with the early Panthers as far as building a real political org, before the Cointelpro and white women, and also the examples of the NOI and Christian ministers like Albert Cleage, as far as the needed spiritual Black Nationalist perspective, but we haven't had a true heavyweight in over a century.

You cannot stop bad things from happening. Prayer is supposed to be a form of meditation/self-reflection. To some people it helps them work out issues or understand what they've done in the day that benefits their lives, or actions that are negative and would like to change/stop. Thinking about prayer in the wrong way leads to disillusionment.

You hop in alotta threads about God and the bible, but ignore the main point of the bible being that blacks, not those Jewish cacs, are the Israelites of the bible. .So if you dont give a damn, why pretend as if you're on some quest for truth? Youre not. You dont want to believe and want to make excuses to cover up that which you do not WANT to do. Next time just saying "I dont want to believe" and keeping it moving would be easier
