QUESTION: Did Lebron ever have “handles”?

He has solid handles for a forward. He's able to get to his spots, that is all you need. That video is more about the first step, several times for the past few years where guys have been able to stop LeBron because he doesn't have the same first step like he used to
little dudes generally can move easier
For being a power forward in size at 6'8-6'9 and between 250-260 pounds Bron has than enough handles to me. Though i think they were better when he was younger and he has a little bit more in the bag then he shows at times. I still remember that behind the back dribble move in 07 against Detroit that i don't recall seeing him pull out ever since.

He was able to get anywhere on the court he wanted to for 15 years and that’s not just only speed and power .
great ball control is having handles.

But, yeah, kats pretty much nailed it. His handle is good enough for his size and position, but what you saw in the clip is what happens when someone with a "just good enough" handle loses their first step after relying on it heavily for 15 years.
