Nothing
Science and Religion agree that the Universe was empty, then it came into being. The void somehow realized it existed. No small feat when there's nothing to compare one's self to. No movement. Nothing within or without. Even so, G-d said to itself "I am" (I'm here. I exist). The very "thought" of existence created existence. This is the Big Bang / Let there be light moment.

All the most elementary particles (Hydrogen and a split second later Helium) came into being, formed stars and started forming more complex particles inside the stars. The particles do this because they are made to do it and they know what to do.

Once you have 100 something elements, you get an Earth like planet which can spawn life. Earth is like a seed. Mars and Venus were possible "Earth"s but only one of the three seeds sprouted (the right amount of Sun and Water).

So creation is proceeding along the trajectory laid out at the first moment of creation. So G-d made everything, but not like we do with our hands.

I can feel that. the creation part reminds me of Egyptian mythology a little.

:jbhmm: So now I meant a completely different meaning than the held one on "random"?

What? Words have different meanings in different contexts.

:jbhmm: Instead of questioning my stance and beliefs, you automatically write me off from one differing thing?

Who's writing you off? You said something I thought was wrong, so I pointed it out.

:jbhmm: You even tried to respond back intelligently but failed to do so.

 Another bold assertion.

now if I remember correctly, I stated that I believe in a higher power due to personal experiences but that I wouldn't be able to recreate the experiences. so if anything, the most input I've provided only "logically" allows you to reduce my post's to subjective experience. which in itself is neither a fallacy nor a truth because it's all based on the individuals perception. but you didn't even do that, you off gp, assumed I was wrong and came to the conclusion of...

I was mostly responding to your reasoning behind not being an atheist. Don't misunderstand... you are wrong. But you are also right -- I can't make any assessment of your personal experiences because I have not experienced them. It doesn't really matter because most people (skeptics, really) can't be convinced alone by someone claiming something happened to them.

:ohhh:..... Lol, I dig it now. Continue on breh, no harm done. :mjlol:

Don't feed the troll's breh's

I already see a chink in your postings, im trying to see if i can expose it to you, this is harder to do than just stating it outright, othetwise you would have seen it yourself already

I'm going to be defensive because you're not questioning me to learn or compare knowledge you're questioning me to try and find a chink in my postings.

Finding chinks in one's thought process and asking questions IS how we learn new things and grow.

If you want to just have your ideas unchallenged, then why even post in Higher Learning, breh? There are plenty of religious/spiritual websites where you could have a thought circle jerk with like minded people ... why not go there?

Or I suppose you can continue to accuse dissenters of trolling to protect your little bubble. Whatever makes you feel better.

Similarly the dirt knew how to become DNA. The act of creation is ongoing. We think it's taken eternity but this was all present in the first moment. The chemicals and forces themselves contain the result that we see now. Purposefully.

G-d is the lion and the gazellle. Every one of us. The Jesus myth illudes to G-d being in a limited form, which is exactly the situation except it's not one guy. It's each creature. Each particle.

People imagine G-d as infinitely more complex - which the entirety of creation is compared to a man - but the essence, the mind of G-d is utterly still. All knowing. Not wondering. The only opportunity for movement is as a limited creature in a mysterious realm.

The only purpose can be for entertainment in these countless forms.
