We need to stop respecting people because the dominant society likes to tell half the story... and the so called "heroes" will never tell you the truth.

For all intents and purposes...he was another Jewish street preacher (there were many) during the times of Roman occupation and he created a cult (that allowed none Jews) and he got killed...

This is exactly my point. Millions of people around the world use the wrong name for a man they supposedly wish to emulate. If you can't get his name right I don't expect you to know what he's teaching. Folks just assume they are right because it's in the Bible. A book that was translated multiple times and still has debate on if sections were left out. I put about as much stock in the teachings King James Bible as King James demonology.

OK it's kinda crazy to me you would wear the weapon your savior got murdered with regardless of the symbol of sacrifice it's supposed to represent. It's like wearing a chain of a gun if somebody you loved got shot and killed. Everyone entitled to their beliefs I guess.
