For my fellow History Major brehs or any of you brehs who’ve dealt with something like this before, how do you go about constructing an outline for a Senior Thesis? What is the outline supposed to look like in this case? I’ve done an outline before but not for this particular type of paper.

This paper involves a 15 page research topic that requires as many primary sources as I can find on the topic and I’ve managed to collect at least 51 primary sources (all newspapers). My main topic or title is “Elizabeth Eckford and the Little Rock Nine During The Central High School Integration Crisis, September to October 1957”.

My professor explained to me what the paper is supposed to look like (mostly the use of footnotes being heavily incorporated into the paper) and gave an example copy of such a paper but he never really gave me an example of what the outline should look like. I’ve started on the paper but the outline itself is due by Monday. Any insight and advice would be much appreciated.
