Breh they know full well they are black so it's not on the level of race it's on a cultural level. They came straight from the islands so they had no chance to adopt the "hood" lifestyle. It was known they will argue with you fast and that can turn into a shooting or stabbing. Even in Toronto a lot of shootings are from West Indians so I don't understand why so much of them have this false belief about themselves. Have you ever seen Dagger dancing?. The same for other foreigners, they have this image of themselves that is straight up bullshyt but they think you are a yankee who knows nothing but your city so they sell you a bullshyt image. The children grow up believing it, even though they can clearly see it isn't totally true. It's equivalent to white supremacy thinking, in that they believe something that is a half truth or out right lie, even when they can see for themselves the belief isn't true.

Now, I knew that didn't mean all of west indians were wild but for some reason when they talk about black americans they have this fake image that they are not bad, and AA are. I grew up around them so when I hear that bullshyt, I know for a FACT it's bullshyt. Even if you don't deal with violence, they have a backwards thinking like slavery never happened to them and they were indentured serveants or they have no issues with being black when they go hard on dark skin women. never really heard about bleaching until I started getting deep into the culture. Actions done by a few bad apples seem to represent the whole black race in this country. The image they have of themselves is not a false image tho fam, that's the real image because they don't let negative stereotypical people represent them in their minds. You're coming from the same angle the media would, by lumping up the bad apples with the regular common folk and saying here this is your "Real" image. So there's ignorance on both sides, one side that needs to open their eyes and your side who feels that they should accept criminal elements as part of their image and culture.

Don't be angry about the way people feel... just try to understand it, understand that it comes from ignorance and that there is ignorance everywhere. A lot of Carib/African folk understand exactly what's going on. They understand the socio-economic factors, they understand the damage that was done to the black psyche... a lot of the people you're complaining about have no formal education or were raised in a certain way.


As far as bleaching, and white supremacy yes there are the effects of that in the carib and Africa just like there is in the black community in the united states. That's a discussion all on it's own. As far as a backwards thinking that slavery never happened... I'm not sure how you can even say that. They know slavery happened to them it's a part of their history, they just aren't reminded of it every damn day in their own countries. When you're raised with constant reminders of this like in the US it's gonna fukk with your psyche.

btw don't think that people weren't affected by the violence committed by west indians/caribs.. back when that nikka dudus coke and the shower posse were wyling my cousin got shot by some of those dudes at a party.. dude in front of him got lit up... So the ones primarily affected by the violence were in fact Caribbean folks. They don't pretend like these things don't exist, they just don't see it the way you do.

Once you put the real information in peoples minds it's hard for them to ignore it. That's why you shouldn't let it bother you like that, but rather educate.

I didn't say they all was like that, I even said how I felt, so I don't see how I'm acting like the media. Just because you feel a certain way in your mind, that doesn't mean it's reality. This is why I called them narcissist, they have a grandiose idea about themselves. Of course some of it is true but, you don't look at the good, and ignore the bad. When you do, you are the equivalent to a narcissist, and that is the start of a fukked up situation for your people, family, or group because you will never fix your internal problems but blame it on something or someone else. In other word scapegoating. Also, I know a lot of them know about slavery but, when you have too many claiming to be from a line of indentured servants, you have a big problem there. The same with Caribbean latins who think spain is their motherland. As far as bleaching, yes we know it has hit all black people of the world BUT, I never heard of it being used in the 90's from AA but, from west indians it was a high amount. I thought blacks was gone from that, but it wasn't with them. The same for latins and other foreigners. I'm not dissing, just stating what I noticed. A lot of foreigners had a very old way of thinking and some of those things sound like something done in the 1930's with AA, yet a lot of them talked down on AA.

BTW, my boy got shot point blank range from a dread, so I know first hand how a lot got down but, I didn't go around saying all Jamaicans were bad, so why do all these black foreigners put down AA when they see the same thing?. It's a narcissistic thinking, which is a fukked up thinking to me.

Africans are content to come here and get their education, get a job and live how the White man do. If not, we'd see lil Ethiopias and Nigeria towns...




The point that I'm making. They make most of the opportunity on an individual level but they don't practice group economics like the Asians or Hispanics.

Come to Houston, Bissonnet from The Beltway to the Southwest Freeway is little Nigeria, probably 60-70 percent of the businesses there are African based or owned.
