The bold is understanding, I dont think anyone would want to deal with having to take care of their woman and HER kids. But if you really love her, nothing wrong with helping out...not having to give an arm and leg but at least a helping hand.

I'm not a parent nor have I prepared enough to be one to just JUMP into it. I just personally don't see myself JUMPING into the role of a father without having to think about the transition during 9 months of pregnancy. With my own child, I could have that self-realization and grow accordingly.

In the situation you're talking about...I'm meeting a chick and her children, getting into a relationship, and without the build-up, I'm just...26 with two kids all of a sudden. Didn't even get married yet...just 2 kids and a sad fukking story to explain over and over agsain. That's not very appealing when there are so many childless options that I can build my own genetically-awesome legacy from...

I'm not white...but imagine if that guy had gotten married to a chick with 2 kids instead of just having his own. Psh...
