How has that worked for you? Seriously. Let's hear your journey.

Short version -

I started a business when I was 13. I was making a little bit of money and my father freaked out because I wasn't incorporated and I didn't have the proper paperwork. Now he should have taught me because I didn't even know what incorporated meant. But I kept doing what I was doing. In the meantime I would check out library books. I read everything I could on business, laws, marketing, etc. I was always reading and trying stuff out.

Age 18- got my proper paperwork and business bank account.

Eventually I started an ecommerce site. I worked on that all throughout college. Sold it. Opened another business. Didn't like it. It wasn't a good fit for me. Moved on to other ventures. Here I am, 30 years old. So proud that the 13 year old me knew that I would never grow to have an employable personality. That's what it comes down to for me. I am not unpleasant, but I do not have an employable personality. Also, I never wanted my kids to be in daycare. Therefore I need to do what works for me and my overall goals.

When I decided to stop complaining about the jobs I was working and and hire myself. Every job had the childish highschool gossip and plantation scenarios. Doesn't matter how much sweat and dedication you offer to your job they'll just slave you more.
This shyt right here man. Coming into a job, working my ass off, wondering why everybody else is slacking, then seeing that it means nothing to them...
I noticed as ridiculous as my work ethic was, no job ever compensated me for going above and beyond. Penny-ante ass raises and "good job" wasn't enough.
I've been running my mouth for years about how im probably gonna try to multiple revenue approach rather than tie my ass down to a corporation, or worse, some service
or retail job. Time to put up.

@Willie Imma hit you up in the pm in a bit about the designs. Been dragging my feet due to bullshyt.

I am not unpleasant, but I do not have an employable personality.
:wow: Don't know how to explain it, but I always new I wasn't meant to be a worker be. I don't have a 9-5 personality. Everybody I've ever been around picks up on it. A lot of times without me even opening my mouth. It's not unpleasant per se, but I think it can rub a lot of people the wrong way.

I don't really know anyone out here or have a social life anyway. All my friends are either in Dallas or New York. So it's whatever....thanks though.
What part of the city are you in now?

Have you ever went to dubai? :leon:

The perv face lets me know that either you are a broke idiot, or you are very wealthy b*stard.

So tell me, what have you built to put yourself in the position to sit here with your little dikk out as opposed to actually asking me a serious question that could improve your life?

I want to start my own business in fixing computers but don't know where to start. I don't know what to do :sadcam:

Find hundreds of companies that use a ton of computers, hit LinkedIn and find the decision makers and their emails. You'll get no response, but you gotta be relentless and just hit em a couple times a week until they give you an answer.

If you land even just one company, you know it's a big one and you can say that's who you did work for and use it as credibility when you're hitting up new prospects.

Show them how they're going to save money with you. "Hi John, I'm looking to learn more about xyz inc. 's partner evaluations for computer repair. I've helped clients like abc save 25% more money and Im confident you'd benefit the same way. What day works best to jump on a quick intro call?" "John following up about saving you 25% next time your computer breaks down. Let's connect and I'll show you things could be better" etc.. Call them if no email response. Let them know you even tried to call them.

Every business youre not hitting up is a no as it is....so no reason to get discouraged, you're gonna hear that over and over... But go chase the one 'yes' that'll get it started cause it's definitely out there. And when it rains it pours. That's exactly how I'd do it.

Oh I mean, -1200 disregard what I said

My nikka... Take it from a guy who spent 3 years active (17-20) and blew thru $$$$$

START WHILE YOURE STILL IN!

It costs roughly $400 for a standard LLC, that's less than a qtr of your base pay. If you're serious hit me up I can point you in the right direction.
