When social or racial issues come up in the media, does it ever lead to problems?

I always wondered that. I imagining myself, let say I was dating a white chick or married..and we at the dinner table, or let say we watchin the news about the trayvon martin case

and she said some sh!t like " well he shouldnt of been wearing a hoody..."

I might be liable to choke that b!tch on some

I feel ya, It just certain stuff that they can't understand.

I remember I was at my potna crib with this white chick I was fukkin at the time and my potna was asking me about my cousin who had just recently got locked up and we was talking about different ways he could beat his case..

And she was like "but if he did it, shouldn't he do the time?"

It was like ..... Then ..... and then

I couldn't really blame her cause she wasn't one of those white hoodrats, it was her first time really being around black people like that away from school.

Its just not comfortable, another time I was with my fam and we were talking about how our Grandma used to send us to the store with that colored money aka food stamps and we were laughing and she started laughing too like " What are these Food Stamps..." Which made me be like

It was a few other small incidents like these that made me realize they'll never really understand the black men's plight. So I decided and that point that I would keep fukkin white chicks but a relationship or getting married to one is out of the question.

With the white women I've dated a lot of times they are so oblivious to white privilege it isn't even funny. At least when you date other minorities they understand race relations more.

I think there would be a disagreement, that would be exacerbated if that person would be oblivious to the that privilege. These are more cultural issues IMO, but I see where it would be a problem. Sadly I would avoid discussing trayvon.

Not every white person is going to DISAGREE with you...

Not every black person is going to AGREE with you...

There seems to be this notion that every white girl dating a black guy is on some completely stereotypical shyt and that the two wouldn't be able to relate on any kind of level about any kind of thing. You know this is 2013, right?

The "If he did it, shouldn't he do the time?" comment is shyt that I've heard PLENTY of black people say...especially on Twitter. That's not just a white opinion.

Won't be too critical with you all and there ARE some ignorant white people out there...but not every white chick is a clueless upper-class Republican valley girl much like every black guy isn't a lower-class struggling uneducated kid from the projects.

I swear...cats on this site come across as VERY sheltered as if you only experienced college from the outside or some shyt.

breh, thats why I made this thread. Ive never dated a white girl before, and everyone in my circle dates black. so Im asking actual people in interracial relationships...instead of just assuming

lets hear from the horses mouth what goes on, and go from there
