I would choose Griffin over him now, but AD has only been 6'10 for what 2 years? He really hasn't learned how to be a big man yet outside of blocking shots.

i do not see his upside offensively bball iq wise to be on duncan's level.

nor do i see his j becoming garnett's howitzer flamethrower, or amare fully developed perimeter game after injury.

it would br nce but i do not see that.

i also don't see him being what zo was to charlotte either.

i just see him as better than brandon wright mixed with marcus camby.

i would like to be wrong.

yet davis, shows me nuffin in the post.

like la, or even oden with a broken dominant hand.

whereas oden in college worked up with his under developed off hand.

firat no team ramped up like the clippers.

plus griffin is a franchise plzyer, as well.

the clippers ramped up with vinnie d black and cp3.

yet would not hAve done any of it without the franchise in griffin.

i don't see davis As the franchise player.

who does what griffin does.

so i don't See the hornets with lower bball iq alonzo light.

getting as far as the clippers did to ramp up this year.

imo,...i think anthony davis is more camby, with energy and initiative barring injury.

he could also take a while to get going like brandon wright, as well.

i do not see him being able to be an immediate difference maker like:

howard
griffin
amare

nor do i see his perimeter game getting to amare's ability after injury either.

How were any of those 3 immediate difference makers. They were all kids, and none was especially adept at anything besides jumping their rookie seasons, and shotblocking in Howard's case. They were solid but not "difference makers".

And Griffin is not a franchise player yet. Amare did what Blake does (and better) and he's not a franchise player. I'm trying to understand how you can see everything I just said about his game and still determine he's in a class with LeBron, Paul, Howard, Dirk, Kobe just yet. Those are franchise players, there aren't a lot of em.

The Clippers improved but still have a ways to go and the way their cap situation is they're gonna have to rely on Jordan and Griffin improving to take that next step. They have to improve in the halfcourt and especially defensively for them to be able to compete with the Thunder.

And I could see Davis as Camby but Camby himself should have been more productive than he was. Marcus Camby was his own worst case scenario because he just relied on his athleticism and his jumper and never really rounded out his game.

amare before injury was the suns franchise player in a union with nash.

as an undersized center....

amare was a monster immediate difference maker, younger than davis.

howard was why the magic returned to the off's.

as their largest difference maker, since tmac.

also griffin is the clippers frsnchise player,..that was obvious when he returned before cpiii was traded for.

Amare was never a franchise player or as important to them as Nash...ever. That's just not right.

And Dwight became a franchise player but I thought we were talking right out the gate, "immediately".

And I don't get what you're saying about Griffin. Returned? He never had an opportunity to leave

And Griffin might be their cornerstone player who they want to build around but in general like I said he's not in the LeBron, Kobe, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul etc. category.

Idk if hes better right now, but hes is without a doubt more skilled than Griffin. I'm not sure what you mean by immediate impact player, because Clippers still were awful in Blakes first full season, ending up with the 1st pick.

Davis has WAY more potential than Griffin IMO. Davis became so much better on the offensive end as the season went on than in the beginning out the season. He already has a better jumper than Griffin and will keep developing his post skills. Everyone knows Davis is a better defender, but I dont think he's that far behind on the offensive end. If I had to draft them both as rookies right now, I'd take Davis.

way way higher ceiling that blake griffin, way way more aggressive and active, quicker, more skilled, defensive tenacity, overall tenacity

blake stiff and slow so he will never develop a better post game that what he already has unlike ad who has the most fluidity and quickness of a big man since... a minute

i was about to say hakeem but let me not sound some type of way

Not really sold on Davis yet. (At least offensively) Something tells me he'll never average 20 and 10 in the league. And he won't average 4-5 blocks either. I hope he proves me wrong though. If Andre Drummond gave a fukk this would not even be a discussion though.
