That shyt adds up.

I agree. I have a family, and I'd NEVER live in a condo again. I need my own garage. hell, I need two car garage. when I stayed in a condo, I rented a two car garage from this cat across the street, but even thats still kinda inconvenient cuz I had to walk across the street just to bring shyt in the crib.

If you throw the federal govt the middle finger for the fiscal year and claim the exemption, (thus not giving them an interest free loan out of your own pocket) you will see 1,300/week on your paycheck if you earn $75,000 in Illinois.

But you still have to pay them later once you figure out what you owe. And even then you could come out ahead.

I understand the concept. I'm just saying ur are gonna end up paying ur taxes regardless. most folks don't have the discipline to do this. personally, I just don't want to deal with the hassle. I am able to cover all my expenses easily as it is (don't have to commute/buy gas to get to work), and save, so I don't wanna deal with going exempt.

I JUST moved from Streeterville. Trying to save money. When I lived here before in 2007, I made awesome money. Had a condo at the Playboy HQ Building on Erie and Lakeshore then moved to River Plaza at 405 Wabash. Then when I came back to Chicago in winter 2011 I didn't make money like that anymore. I moved back to River Plaza but the Trump was finished next door and stole all the river/city views. :camby: I have a short term lease at "Luxury@1130" on Michigan and Roosevelt. If I stay in Chicago this fall, I'll probably move by Belmont or Wicker Park...maybe those condos on Chicago and California.

yo r u originally from LA? :lupe:

interested to hear what u gota say on chi vs LA if ur originally from socal.... because LA makes more sense to me but i like what chicago has to offer cost wise
