Question to Atheists:: Why not take a chance and believe?

If god rejects me based on the life I lived simply because I didn’t believe in god then god was never worth my time in the first place. Imagine a god that accepts murderers because they believed but a non believer who did good things throughout his life but was atheist. That doesn’t even make sense and it’s humans being idiots thinking they’d know how a higher being thinks

The Bible shouldn’t be taken literally. It has some good lessons that tells you to be good to people. Unlike a lot of so called “Christians” I don’t need the threat of eternal damnation to do the right thing. A lot of y’all should ask the question why you need to essentially be threatened to just be a good human tho

I'm an atheist, but I find it entirely plausible that a man named Jesus Yeshua was roaming around Judaea Iudaea in the first quarter of the first century AD. There's more near-contemporary evidence for his existence than about 99% of anyone else who lived in the region at the time.
