The men who all went 50/50 that got married are all divorced while the men I know who pay 80 percent or more still happily married. If you have to go 50/50 with your wife/partner just remain single until you in a better financial position to provide.

Lmao bro I dunno who yall date,, but any women I’ve dated seriously has actually felt bad when I’m the one picking up every check.

I’m not sayin go dutch all the time, but women I’ve dated seriously, every now and then they grab the check from me at lunch and say ‘I got this’ with a lil smile on their face. Sometimes when I grab dinner I’m checkin my phone later and see that she venmo’d me like $50 as a little token of appreciation cause she knows all this shyt cost. She likes takin her AMEX outta the chanel bag that I bought her and pickin up stuff sometimes because she knows we both live a lifestyle that we both enjoy and she’s not tryna feel like she isn’t doing any part.

We moved in together and the rent was a little over 3.5k. I offered to split it 70/30 cause I make more than her, and she countered with 60/40. She can afford it and she said she’d feel bad if she lived somewhere nice and didn’t even pay 1/3 of it.

Despite what the internet tells us, most women actually don’t enjoy feeling financially useless in their relationship.

The broker women are, the more they expect their man to carry them. The better off they are, the more they‘re inclined to contribute to a lifestyle they want to live with a partner they enjoy.

But my lady makes 6 figures. I don’t date women who get paid by the hour.
