If this was Neptunes or Timbo they'd be saying this is the good beat

Just because a beat uses some irregular sounds for percussions and does a little panning doesn't make it a good beat. The biggest flaw in comparing it to Neptunes and Timbo is the song has no groove/rhythm. That's what made the Neptunes and Timbo so great is because they'd use all these percussive instruments but it'd have a crazy head nodding rhythm to it. They didn't just throw a bunch of stuff together.

Like compare that groove to this which ain't even the Neptunes best but it's just to give an example.:

Guess I'm in the minority. Music and art is subjective there's no right or wrong, good or bad. I still think it's an amazing beat but I'm a sucker for percussive instrumentation and weird sounds. Flylo is my favorite producer of all time and I've literally had a girl ask "wtf is this" when I told her to check out "You're Dead". I'm not trying to say I have some superior taste level but we all got our preferences. Shout out to Sean Garrett

I think this was one of the few times where the music video was suppose to generate interest
into the song. Unfortunately this song came out during the when people stopped caring about music videos

Hype did his thing with the video it was good., If I not mistaken I think this was the first music video
where Nicki showed off her ''bare'' azz post butt injections.

Originally this was suppose to be a Sean Garrett solo record but Nicki decided to turn it into her
own song. Like we've all said the beat sucked Nicki wasn't rapping about anything, the hook was corny. And it was clear the song was pandering to the gay/lesbo demographic
