I've seen too many historically terrible franchises rebound with good front offices drafting good players for me to just blindly declare the Jets can't get this right. Lions traded Stafford, got two 1st round picks and some later round picks plus Goff, and built a Super Bowl contender roster within three years. If we can do that shyt I see no reason to act like the Jets can't. I like the GM, I love the coach. Get a QB and take your shot man...

Yet the Lions aint sniff the SB. And it took yall decades to mustard up back to back playoff appearances. Dont get it twisted, Lions are still historcially bad and they still need a QB.

Thinking he setting the cowboys up for a two year window starting next year.

They seem to feel comfortable on the offensive side of the ball. This season is lost but I expect them to bring in some at least average players on defense in free agency.

Also the cowboys have just straight up lit their second round picks on fire going on a decade now. Kelvin Josesph, Sam Williams, Luke Schoonmaker, Trysten Hill, the list goes on and on of useless second round players. In the last decade only Diggs and Jaylon Smith have signed second contracts with the cowboys and both became insta trash as soon as they signed, no water no rice added.

Cowboys got one of the best DT's in football for a first round pick and a pick they have been fukking up for longer than I care to remember. No brainer.
