Coples was excellent at the Three when he weighed 315.Coples was never good enough to have a thread like this created tbh...but the Jets have been shytty drafters and Coples did get kinda screwed by Rex. He had no business playing off the edge...he's not a great athlete.

I don't know either .They should have kept him there. I dont know what happened....
At that weight, you're Usually a DE. Jets fukked up his career. He was a beast at the three.Reb's usually pretty good, but yea this kid looked like a bust every time i watched him
how many 280 lb. players have excelled @ LB? 2014 Julius Peppers? shyt just doesnt work

man please. He came out of North Carolina. He looks more tired than not showing effort. He just needs to get into NFL shape. I haven't seen any evidence that warrants the belief that him taking plays off in college has manifested itself into the pros, watching two weeks of limited film of him you and I have both watched. Especially when he's running downfield and making tackles on Victor Cruz. I don't want to hear that talking point until its earned on the field.
Most good DE win most of the battles at the point of attack. When he's blocked one on one, he's winning most of those battles in the short time I've seen him.
He'll clear waivers and likely sign with someone who will give him that shot. Out weight back on in the offaeason and we'll see.At that weight, you're Usually a DE. Jets fukked up his career. He was a beast at the three.
