I just watched Coples play in his first start.

Dude is going to be an extreme problem.

I think he's the key to the Jets disrupting the Pats offense. Brady hates getting rushed up the middle ever since his knee got tore up. And Coples is a MUCH better interior rusher than he is on the edge.

1. Coples first start...and they have him set inside.

2. Samson Steele....meet Quinton Coples

3. Samson has hair cut off and gets thrown in the bushes. One armed to the ground by Coples. Poor fella.

4. Coples sets himself free. Andrew is in trouble. Center is still on the ground looking for proper footing

5. Coples forces Andrew into an intentional grounding.



This dude is a stud. The had him doing stunts this week and had him going one on one against the guards and he was tossing them around. His inside move stopped what would have been a conversion for a 1st and goal against the Colts. Donnie Avery was wide open, Luck had to escape Coples.

Nevertheless, offtrack. Coples looks very promising and that defense could be much better than last year. I even think Stephen Hill looks pretty good too

Coples is #2 behind JJ Watt in getting pressures per pass rush when playing DE in the 3-4.
