bruh its 150, not 20 million....deposit $2k every two weeks for things like mortgage/rent, utilities. the rest pay in cash.

You could live very comfortably off $40-50k tax free dollars, take a year off then start looking for work and still have $100k sitting in a high yield savings account.

edited---forgot anything over 10k deposited is flagged by IRS. :damn: gotta be smart with how you move but its doable.
don't like taking cash to get money orders for mortgage or rent. eventually they start side eyeing, scheming, or rat.

Washing money has never been easier. that being said why do you need to put it in the bank? Just leave it in the house.
leaving that amount of money where you sleep is risky. plus no job and no insurance. even going to the dentist for a cleaning isn't cheap...don't get a cavity..or stub your toe.

moving around with cash wasn't as risky back in the day. bank insures your funds.

connecting with a street vendor or starting a tshirt biz out of your trunk could still be worth it tho.

alphabet boys watching this thread hard...👀 ..lol

This reminds me of a dumbass friend of the family we had. Dudes mother died and the house went to him.
He sold the house for like 100K. Gave half (HALF!) to his agent. Then went around saying he wasn't gonna let money change him :mjlol:

Was broke again after like 1 year.
People really underestimate how being rent free/mortgage free is a universe changer........unless that house was a run down money pit.......he lost

Somebody making $150k salary are likely in a position where they can easily find another job. That salary means you have experience and good networking.
Eh depends on the job.

Like in my field, I can easily get another job....but the working conditions from company to company can vary quite a bit along with the pay.

I'm at $122k base with another 10% for bonus. Benefits are good and cheap and the PTO is solid. Bosses are nice and coworkers are cool. In a bad situation, I'd take the money without a second thought. In my current situation, $150k wouldn't be worth it.

Yessir.

That would free up so much money, plus if you add in a car note, etc.

Probably pay up your insurance for a couple years as well.
