Did that shyt in college it's literally soul crushing work. I'm one of those suicide is for the cowardly people but working a call center job with the wrong mindset can def have you harboring some negative thoughts.
Worked at a few call centers in my day. Mostly black. Some people complain about the mundane stuff like explaining product features, but I saw it as the longer the call, the quicker the day goes by. Explaining how to use a website to elderly people

I just started working at a roadside assistance call center a couple weeks ago....
I thought yall were kidding about this shyt being hell sometimes and to make it worse there isn't even any thotties in this bytch

Not even joking after getting yelled at and being talked down to a few call in a row I legit got triggered by the phone ringing
I'm just waiting until I have a couple of months of call center experience I can put on a resume and see if I can finesse an IT help desk job

My first job outta high school was at a call center. I lucked out with an easy company though. We sold beanie babies and only had to deal with stores. My homie that applied with me wasn't so lucky. He got jc penny life insurance. So he only dealt with calls to cancel or worse put in a claim.
I worked there for a little over a year before my friend jedi mind tricked me to switching to jc penny. I quit a month after switching it was too shytty.
I switched cause my homie was always clowning me. He was getting sometimes an extra 200 on his checks for whatever bonuses he earned. Where I worked we didn't get shyt but some fukking beanie babies every once in a while. I was 18 what the fukk did I want with some shytty toy.
So we'd be at lunch and he'd be like
"hell yeah an extra $200."
"What you get bro? A squirrel whirly? Faggy fish?" 
I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to make more money so I switched.

I used to drop Lewinsky off at the White House.
My first call center job was AT&T for a lil bit and man....I just stopped coming in
Supervisor would be texting me and shyt. I just said fukk it. I made it through training and all but they stuck with a shytty ass shift (2-10no weekends off) and a shytty ass supervisor. bytch would always be listening to a nikka phone call trying to correct me on the smallest bullshyt.
I just started training at a Verizon Call Center though and it feel like a whole different type of environment.
. Told myself I would never do another Call Center job but I'm actually thinking about staying my ass put. It feels different walking in when you have some experience under your belt too. My trainer pulled me out of class today and told me she see me picking up everything fast and see me moving up real quick. I told her straight up I'm trying to do something else here I'm not gone be that 5-10 year person who ain't did shyt but be a agent.
I'm a real laid back dude so the calls don't really get to me much. When you get a day full of shytty ass calls you do leave feeling though. That post work blunt be feeling so right.
And yeah....it's definitely always hoes on deck.

Working in call center was hell and dope at the same time. Dope only because it was the only job I had where I was outnumbered in terms of women to men ratio.
Hell in every other aspect. The constant monitoring, every second of your day being recorded. The fact that you had to talk to people all day, and people are way more bold on the phone. I can't tell you how many supervisor "discussions" I had because I would hang up on people. If you cuss me out you were getting hung up on mid sentence...unless it was near the end of my shift (then I'd stretch the convo out a few more minutes).
Overall I hated call center work with a flaming passion, and it truly allows you to see how stupid people are. Just when you thought Johnny from California was stupid, Susie from Colorado calls in screaming about why she received a cancellation notice for not paying her bill.

Man, realist thread ever. It took a toll on me that I started to have panic attacks. I hung up the phone on a customer and went to my boss and quit. He was likeI'm proud of you, you escaped. You had 40 year olds that been working there for 15 years and shyt. I did a year and bounced. You finish a call after getting cussed out for something you can't control and then u pick up another call within 5 seconds(
) and get cussed out again. It made me go back to school, that's how bad that shyt was.
