Some of you dudes have a gay obsession, you think everyones gay and seem to have gayness on your mind most of the time. There is no credible evidence Guru was gay, there was more evidence that him and Solar had fists fights but not either one being gay. If he was gay, I wouldn't give a fukk, as it doesn't take away the greatness of his work, listening for his music not considering his sexuality. But the people who knew him best says he wasn't and he had a son, so the evidence points to him not being gay. If it was true cool, but casting aspersions on people that aren't here to defend themselves is kind of foul.

Late in on this thread but rest in peace. Guru had a powerful voice and Gang Starrs "Moment of Truth", the song is among the best written songs of all time.

Man, when Guru passed it really tore me up. I remember Gangstarr being one of my favorite groups coming up as a youngin and Guru being one of my favorite Mcs. Dude had such a great presence on the mic and was dope while keeping it simple and street. His story was really inspirational to me.He was the son of one of the most prominent legal representatives in Boston. Originally Gangstarr was Big Shug and Guru. Their plans to fund their first recordigs came from a robbery in Boston in which Shug got arrested for and Guru backed out. He moved to NYC and met Premier, a transplant from Houston, TX. When Gangstarr got signed, he hit up Shug with mad paper after he got out and was provided with a spot w/ The Gangstarr foundation.

When he passed it atleast gave one of my favorite groups, Group Home an opportunity to hit the world with their third LP after over a decade. There was beef with the gangstarr foundation with Jeru and Group Home, but with Guru's passing, they were able to come to peace and make amends.

That's why I know that letter that Guru supposedly wrote was bullshyt. When people die, they make amends with their family and friends and don't hold grudges.

RIP Guru, you were one of a kind. Hip-hop misses you.

Are you gonna give Guru any responsibility :stopitslime: are you gonna hold him accountable for allowing Solar to do all the shyt he did?
