Early summer '94, when Stretch couldn't make it to WKCR one night, Sear hosted what he was calling "The Snap Olympics".

It was like 2 hours and change of him and Bobbito and others up at the show, snapping on friends from around the way, rappers and other people in the industry. Akinyele, Large Professor, Organized Konfusion, O.C., and other MC's were in the building. I recorded it live and still have it on a cassette. Easily one of the funniest episodes ever on WKCR! I remember taking the tape to school the next day and cracking up with everybody listening to it again.

He was a part of so many classic moments up at the station. Really the best of times.

I went to HipHop-TheGoldenEra to try to find the week in 94' you were talking about but it must be one that hasn't been archived online yet. I'm guessing one of the June weeks that is missing from this list or May.......Damn I want to hear this, years back I listened to damn near every archived show online

I need to digitize a lot of my old Stretch and Bob tapes. This was before summer break, since we were still in school. I've digitized a lot of the earlier seasons from cassettes, but then took a break and never got back to it.

Summer '93, I think July, I have a really dope (and funny) freestyle with Sear, Kurious, Grand Ghetto and Supernat that I've been listening to faithfully since I was a kid, back then. They rhymed over The Alkaholiks' "Make Room" and Masta Ace's "Saturday Nite Live" remix beat. I need to get that one online too. Sear ends the freestyle and goes CRAZY for like 4 mins!

me and my pops would crack up listenin to him these las few months.

Always enjoyed hearing him cut ass and make fun of people from the stretch and bob show all the way to shade 45. Think I got some old drunk mixes downloaded somewhere I’ll listen to. Rest in power Lord Sear.
