Sony is eventually going to be a gaming and entertainment ONLY company.

They need to cut all that other nonsense out. their televisions are too expensive, their PC's were ALWAYS overpriced and finally gave up on that market.

If they want any hope of "saving" their TV business they need to look at low to middle tier Sony TVs as well. The top of the line shyt, while better than Sammys, is nothing people are gonna pay a premium for. That's just reality. They're already gonna ditch the PC biz, but Kaz needs to go ahead and throw in the towel or make major adjustments on their TV business. The masses aren't paying the premium for the Bravias breh.

Son Samsung is so complacent now it's crazy...put it like this..they do have mid tier TVs..that are priced great..they have a 40" smart tv for only like 480 bucks...the 48" inch of that same TV for 650..and if u wanna get a 50" premium Sony Tv..the W800b is only $999.99.they all simply offer more for the money..Samsung just makes more TV's in general..but for $999.99..u only gettin the 50" H6350...a FAR less nice TV..picture and features wise...on top of that with Playstation Now rolling out u can play PS3 games directly from the TV..no console required...I think that's gonna be big for them...but I tell u Samsung needs to stop bullshyttin cause they got TVs from 3 years ago that have better picture quality than alotta the shyt they puttin out now..and they straight fukked up by making their new 8000 series curved...

Oh Sony is not off the hook either..they fukked up this year with their 900 series...they gave it an IPS panel which fukked up the black levels..it's what happens when companies try to fix something that's not broken..last years w900a was prolly the best LED TV ever made picture quality wise..

thought about a W900A, but the apps and dlna and size of the screen on the Sammy my wife copped me fro my Bday were hard to pass up. The input lag was decent too (of course the Sony's are GREAT in that dept).

vizio's panels are straight trash compared to ANY high end brand. this is fact. they're a consumers brand for people who want a decent tv with decent feature's at a decent price. but pic quality wise their highest end is on par with middle of the road TV's from other brands...last years E Series was some of the worst looking TV's out pic quality wise. this year they did step it up with the full array LED's but still..quality wise it's still just not there...

nikka shut up and stick to talking bout Xbox cause u have NO idea what u talking bout in this dept and I can wholeheartedly say this shyt...as a matter of fact...tell me a Sony model that cost $2000 dollars that isn't a 4k?....their fukkin 65" inch w850a is running under $2000 dollars right now and that shyt has better colors than Samsung's 8000 series...which in the same size cost over 1000 bucks more. Samsung's h7150(which is shytty by the way) at only 60" inches is fukkin 2 g's....and if u care anything about picture quality the Sony 65" is a no brainer..only way I see someone picking the 7150 over that is cause it's thinner and it has shyt like voice controls...if u think features don't sell a tv u are HIGHLY mistaken cause that's how Samsung has been getting by for the last couple years...shyt like voice control and motion controls n other dumb shyt that ur beloved Xbox is WAY better at doing..but people STILL copped the 7 and 8000 series TV's for that shyt at one point.
