I don’t know. I always was told that you couldn’t mess with anyone out of high school like senior to freshman but if you graduated it was over. But they say age of consent is the age a person can legally consent to having sex. Me and another poster were discussing why don’t they just make it 18 or 21 like they do most other things. You aren’t an adult until 18. Once you are 18 you can do your thing at 21 you can do even more.

Some of those states that say 16 mean at 16 they can consent if it's with someone 3years of 16 or younger. So if a 21 year old mess with a 16yr old he still can be changed.

I haven't been really following this case, but the tidbits I do come across got Kelly looking like a monster. I never listened to his music, or followed him, but I stand by every man deserving his day in court. I'm not a fan of conviction by media in this day and age. That said, as this case goes on, it's not looking good.

Because there isn't one. By all accounts, the defense is getting SLAUGHTERED in that courtroom. Mainly because they can't seem to grasp that just because a lot of these girls lied about their age does not mean that Kelly is off the hook, ESPECIALLY since they followed up by telling him the truth about their ages.

Low key I'll admit I've just being getting my info from the popular sources and here....I just did a bit more research and what's being presented to us from popular media and what is occurring doesn't seem to be the same thing....I'm legit looking at this now like just for me being a father I need one of these charges to stick. I assumed they had new videos since well they said they had new videos so I thought that was the nail in the coffin. So I am under the expectation that this current case may not be the one that does him in maybe it's the next one. Since from my understanding he still has the one in Illinois right?

That's because they view their citizens a mature I believe like in Germany for example the legal drinking age is 16...

14 is there age of consent for example there. I see some places like Korea where it's 20. Anyone 19 and under is statutory rape as they can not legally consent.

Even in Canada it's 16 to consent.

IF did something illegal and kept it going long enough to involve enough people for it to be a criminal enterprise. If you hire goons to threaten little girls and families into silence then hire goons to threaten the goons and keep it going decades, that’s gonna bring those types of crimes.
